Need RELIABLE sources.

  Guys, I don't know if this 2012 thing is true or not, but in many threads, the information posted is from one of those very unreliable websites you get from google. You know, with the geocities sidebar, the creepy music in the backround, the words written in huge bold, red text.

  I've searched google, but these are the only kinds of sites that come up. Does anyone have any RELIABLE websites that could get me information on 2012, please?

At the top of this board are a number of stickies Adrian made with references on books and websites related to 2012. I would start there if I were you. I believe the one book is called Beyond 2012.
