Channeling Thalb

An experiment.  I am channeling a being that I will call "Thalb".

I don't believe in channeling.  Let's see what happens.  Questions to Thalb please...

My question to Thalb is:  What is my life purpose at this point in time?

Thank you for responding.  I have a telepathic relationship with Thalb and his response is...

"To be him/herself, no matter what other people think."

I asked Thalb twice, because I wanted the first reply to be honest and true.

Thalb is a basic being (possibly a very intelligent being but because is channeled through me, can only give simple basic answers).

If anyone wants intellectual answers, Thalb may not know them...

I would say that Thalb seems genuine as that is the same info I have received myself from multiple sources. 

I hope your experiment helps you to believe more solidly in channeling. It is only basic for you right now only due to you just starting out.  The more you do it, the better your connection to it.

One more question I think is good and then I'll let others take a crack at it...

Will my "venture" be successful in that through doing what I'll be doing, will I be able to walk my path in a manner that will allow me to have complete freedom and abundance in my life which will aid me in furthering my "venture"?

I am sat with Thalb as we speak.

He tells me that any pathway, whether it be spiritual, walkway, concrete or tree-lined will have its own personal hurdles, or purdles as he puts them, and we all would benefit from 'floating above' our purdles.

'Floating above' is quite a spiritual saying, and emotional too, and I'm sure if we focus on it, we are all able to rise above our physical destiny.

To answer your own personal question, Thalb has told me... "your venture is very special and important to you.  If you are true to yourself, and do not lose sight of your own personal goal, you will reach inner satisfaction.  This is very important to you, however, you also wish to bring happiness to other people."

I have an inkling as to what your short term venture may be, but I am afraid that my ego might be involved so I will keep out of it.

As I have mentioned, I am new to channeling, and as much as I will let Thalb speak, I do appreciate that he is speaking through me, and I might influence things.

Thalb is very happy with your decision and is satisfied that you are a genuine human being.  He would happily sit next to you at a dinner party...

Purdles... I like that.  Sounds catchy!

Thalb is right on the money there. Very sound advice and it rings true within my core.

Please share what your inkling is as I am more than open to sharing what I am working on. Just didn't want to spill the beans on you since you are testing to see if Thalb is real or if it is just your ego.

I'm very happy an honored that Thalb is happy with my decision, yes I had made it a few days ago, and am more than honored that s/he would have no problem sitting next to me at a dinner party.

hmmm... doesn't look like all that many people have noticed your topic yet... I think that leaves me room to keep asking questions then, If you and Thanlb don't mind of course...
If anyone else is interested in asking though, please do. I don't want to have the monopoly on Sarah's and Thalb's time.

So on to question 3:  I have a huge interest in lucid dreaming, astral projection, and spirit guides.  In regards to astral projection, what is the key I seem to be missing? I've read many texts and done many techniques, however I seem to always be one step behind... In regards to spirit guides, what would you recommend to me in order to contact my own and also for anyone else interested to connect to their own?

Thank you for your response.  I will light a candle and come back to you shortly.

Not that the candle will give Thalb an answer - Thalb and I love candles.  Thalb is fond of chocolate, wine, hugs and candles.  In no order.  Thalb is unique.  That's what I particularly like about him.  He found me, in a way, and he's become part of the family in a way. 

I know that Thalb is a "he", by the way.  Sometimes, one senses these things, and knows without a doubt.

My inkling (and bear in mind it isn't Thalb's inkling), [and I know it's wrong, there's a thing, let me think a while]...

My first thought was something to do with caring older people (and not your own relatives).  But I think that's too "my" influence.  I need to ask Thalb.  It's still predominent.  Caring for older people.

I will ask Thalb.

Thalb says no.

I asked Thalb, "what is shadow's job?"

And got

"manual work, something with your hands."

I asked "what manual work"

"cars"

?

He would also like to tell you...

Stay true.  There is something he is telling me about being honest and true, no matter who else is lying.  I can't really explain, but he is looking at me with that open face.  You must be true, especially to yourself, it is so important.

I love candles too! They cast the most gentle light, and don't even get me started on chocolate and wine, not to mention hugs!

Hmmm, well I'm not headed in the direction of caring for older people unless what is meant is caring for the older ways.  I've never been much for taking care of others, though I do try to help others when I can.

With the question you asked Thalb, "What is Shadow's job?" we have a disconnect. What I mean is that what you wanted to know and what you asked were different.  Thalb did give you a fairly accurate answer of what I currently do for a living, The manual work I do is technical support fixing computers, however I think what you wanted to know from him was what my venture is.

I would have to say your experiment is going very well.  You are definatly learning here, isn't all life a process in learning, and as always feedback is the best thing for that.

Hmmm... Stay true?  Very sound advice and I will take heed on that.  Not too sure though as to why, posibly a situation that has yet to arise. I will certainly take it as good advice though. I will stay true to myself.

Most certainly.  If you remain open to channeling amazing things can and will happen.

I wouldn't say that I know what he is on about, but I do have a good inkling and your probably right, if we did meet there would be very little doubt. Don't worry about your ego and influence. Thalb choose to work through you because you are capable of over coming them. 

So one more question for Thalb after the others asking questions have been answered first of course:   What is the best way for me to connect with my own spirit guides and higher self? (This is something I've been trying to do for a long time, but have had little success in.)

Hi Sunn - what will happen with sparklefish is actually irrelevent, accoding to Thalb.  I asked Thalb what sparklefish meant to him, and he started smacking his face.  I then asked him how sparklefish compared to anglepoise lamps.  Same thing, smacking his face. 

Then I mentioned stained glass windows. 

Thalb rubbed his nose which meant he wanted wine or chocolate.

And the clicking you hear is not paranormal - it's a house thing.  That was easy, we both came to the same conclusion at the same time.  Houses make noises all the time.

 What is the best way for me to connect with my own spirit guides and higher self? (This is something I've been trying to do for a long time, but have had little success in.)

This is an easy answer, and nothing to do with Thalb.  (In my opinion of course.)  Meditate.  Or sit quietly.  You don't need to astral project.  Simply sit and relax your whole self.  Shut down your mind (the hardest thing).  If you can do this, take your mental self on a journey.  It's called imagination.  Everyone can do it.  But not many do.  Go on a story in your mind.

When you find yourself thinking, "this is silly", just continue with your wonderful mental story.  When something/someone turns up in your story that you didn't imagine, accept them and see what happens.  It can be very interesting at the least.  If you let yourself be open to other influences, they can tell you things about yourself that you may have suppressed for the last 40 years.  And these "other influences", if they look like Yul Brenner or a tissue box, or Darcy Bussell, may just be our guides.  We have to be utterly open to what our guides might be.  They might not take human form.  Or animal form.  They might take the form of a printer or a carpet.  We must always be open to whatever is around us.

I have been slacking on meditating lately, I'll go on ahead and try what you suggest and see what happens.

Next question, If you have time of course, I've been having a hard time with astral projection on a conscious level.  Unconsciously I do it all the time.  What is it that I am missing or what do I need to do to make the jump to being able to astral project in a conscious manner. 

That question is also open to anyone else to answer as well if they wish.

Sorry about sparklefish.  It/he/she is still irrelevant to Thalb and I, for some reason.  I've no idea what that means and sorry if it offends.

I thought I'd just posted about an eagle. 

You have an amazing animal guide - an eagle.

This is an easy answer, and like the previous answer, is nothing to with channeling.  Close your eyes. sit quietly and imagine an eagle.  Soar with it, fly with her/him, perch on a cliff edge, just be with an eagle.  Really imagine yourself there and be open to what the eagle may be telling you (telepathically or otherwise).  And if you wish to know things, ask the eagle.  This can be as simple as sitting quietly, imagining an eagle in front of you, and asking it a question.  The first thing it responds, (before you've had a chance to think about what it might respond) it probably the right answer.

Selski, after you get finished with those I've got a question for Thalb even though I probably know the answer already.

Last night I was meditating and I saw something appear in my minds eye and somehow it said "I know what you seek and I can give it to you." Along with this I felt like if I went along with him I would gain alot of power. So my question is: Should I go along with it?
