I've been trying this obe thing for a couple of years with no success. Yesterday, I've read franks phasing ressource and tried to change my approach accordingly. I stared into the blackness with some brainwave tunes and I quickly became very relaxed and calm. I tried to be "the observer (TM)" and after a while, something changed....

I could see patterns and some kind of oil (?) flowing around. Try to mix some oil with tap water and you know how it looks like..just "dark". Then, the oily liquid somehow "opened" itself up and I tried to concentrate on the patterns behind. Then I got the "vibrations" and a bloodstream rushed to my head and my body proportions felt incorrect. I saw some colors behind my eyelids propably because of the blood rush. Then I became aware of my body again,

I've always thought positive about the vibrational state, but now I feel that it just distracts me! I always feel my eyelids moving like crazy and stuff  :-(

Don't be discouraged that was a big step.  You just have to give into the vibrations, totally submit to them and you should then some kind of movement...then you are on your way.

This sounds like you've tasted some success, things that the more experienced guys have dealt with in the past, the next step is to try not be too analytical through the transition, relax, know that you're safe, know where you want to go, or what you want do.

What works for me is to plan my trip, like I do when I go on vacation.

1. I have a target (Destination)
2. I have a desire (I desire to be at the destination)
3. I visualize the destination, ask to be taken there and with the desire to be there, I get taken there.

This happens instantly or through flight in a space environment.

In this way I lose the compultion to hold on to my body.
"where are we, are we there yet?"

yup.. been there.  i have no control or understanding yet but i see excatally what you see.. the oily water is a very good description of it.. some times i see special effects.. i do a lot of graphic work so for some reason it looks like special effects to me.  i have a really tough time with my eye lids also.. all i can really say is good luck.. i'm on the hunt as well
