Hi- I'm an as-yet-unpublished writer. working on a series of science-fiction novels dealing with astral projection and remote viewing. Book One: "DreamWeaver: Spirits of Orion," is currently in re-write. Book Two: "DreamWeaver: Suffer the Children", is in process. I've had my share of lucid dreams and one possible astral experience. Hope to network with you soon.

Welcome to the forums.  Without giving away to much of the plots, could you tell us a little about the story lines?  DH

The DreamWeaver series is centered on Dr. Eric Weaver, with numerous PhD's in the mind sciences and electronic engineering. When he was 17, he crossed over from a lucid dream  into the astral plane. Over the last 18 years, he's sharpened his ability to 'go astral' at will, and has developed a system that can record his astral experiences so they can be played back on video. The device, which he calls  the DreamWeaver,  is used in the research and treatment of mental disorders at the Weaver Center for Mind Studies. He also works as a special agent for a covert ops  group code-named File 13.

"Spirits of Orion" takes place in 2020. Weaver enters the astral plane and rescues a stasis chamber researcher whose been astral for all of the 18 months that he's been in stasis. When he was revived, his astral self is unable to reunite with his body and the latter goes on a rampage, gravely injuring three of the researchers. Weaver figures out how to reunite the two and stays on at the stasis lab to instruct the researchers and the 40+ astronauts who will soon be placed into stasis for a trip to a newly discovered habitable planet 12 light years away aboard the faster than light ship Orion I.  Weaver is soon reunited with his high school sweetheart and later deals with a former CIA remote viewer and a subliminal programming expert. 400+ pages. (Being re-written to add references to a few current developments that relate to events mentioned in the book.)

"Suffer the Children" (2021), pits Weaver and the resources of File 13 against a band of terrorists who abduct 16 high school students from Henderson, Nevada and hold them hostage while they set up the first of several attacks on the 20th anniversary of  9/11.

I like that very much, I'm sure it will turn out to be an excellent story. I wrote a short story involving astral projection one time, and I want to develop it further... need any advice, just come to these forums!
I'd rather spend my life attempting to make myself happy rather than prevent myself from being unhappy.

Thanks for the preview.  I'm a fan of sci/fi and suspense.  You've already got me hooked.   :-)

My agent is drooling for the rewrite. The title was originally "Dreamcatcher, but someone else published one by that name before I had finished chapter 3. :-D

When your first book releases can you come back and tell everyone, i'm just dying to read it just by your description alone.

Count  on it! If my agent can land a publisher that shares our vision, there will be at least 3 in the series.
