Now my head hurts....

Just want to share this with you...

I gave an hours healing session last night, the first time in about 2 years... (I practice spiritual healing - NFSH). It was incredible, the energy was flowing and the affects it had afterwards on the person I was healing was profound. 

This morning I woke up with such a bad headache.  I can only compare it with how you feel after being out all night drinking and waking up dehydrated.  I still have it. 

I haven't experienced this before after healing - which was more than 2 years ago - but then the healing I did last night WAS very intense, there was so much energy in the room.  The recipient being healed actually thought she was floating, quite incredible. 
I drunk about 1 1/2 glasses of water after, as it's said when doing any energy work, you should hydrate yourself, but obviously it wasn't enough.

Anyone else experienced this before?

I have given some very powerful healings but never had a bad headache. It could be because I don't usually have headaches at all, I'm not prone to them.

My quess is that you got a lot of energy from the healing too, and are experiencing cleansing because of that. You said you hadn't done healings in a long time, so it's pretty obvious that you have had time to get "dirty" meanwhile.

Could be a variety of things...

Possible blockages in the Third Eye, and/or Crown Chakras?
Excessive amounts of Energy passing through them, causing you to have this headache?
To much strain, and/or force being exerted in trying to get the Energy to flow though?

Did you ground all your Energy after the Healing Session?

Absolutely... I visualise at the beginning that I have roots going down into the ground drawing up the energy.  At the end of the session, I visualise any negative or inappropriate energies leaving my body and reconnecting to the earth and transmuted into clear and useable energy once more.  I then close myself down by putting my chakras into a resting state...

first i will apologize because i posted this somewhere else in the forum but i didn't get any replies... About two or three weeks ago or so i have been able to feel things all around me... and this was after i near death experience...? or at least i felt i was dying and i agreed with myself that i would be fine if i died and realized all the things that mattered to me and just a load of other stuff... well, i let go of panicing and this surge of love came on to me and i felt better... so after that i basically can feel things when i like to. i just kinda meditate and boom, i am in. well, i have heard of healing before and i figured i would take a shot well, i would really like to see people better i guess? and also i want to try and heal myself of type 1 diabetes...

so the other day at work this girl had a headache, and i just meditated and pretended that i was her body and brought in lots of energy... just from all of the energy i felt around me. after she told me she had a headache i simply told her don't worry about it, it will go away... then i proceeded. thirty minutes later she told me how did i know? she told me not even a minute after i told her, it went away... well, i started doing some distance work on a man i have seen come into work with a skin disease... this healing i was doing felt AMAZING, during this healing process i did it a bit different, basically the same but i was praying also. I felt very strong but after i was done... my legs were very very weak... and i felt if i was going to pass out.. and had a headache the rest of the night. If anyone at all could give me any pointers in this forum or any site or ANYTHING at all i would appreciate it. I don't know much at all about healing but i know that i can do it. Just the thing is... i feel very bad afterwards... even after i fixed my friends headache at work... i had a headache afterwards, then it went away, then it came back after i tried working on the man with the skin disease.

I'm not a healer, but I can cure myself of some things. Maybe i'm wrong but when you heal somebody else you have to prevent taking the root of thier illness on yourself; a negative energy, which could manifest illness/discomfort on you.

How I heal myself is pretty unadvanced, just controlling my body, but in a way you would ask your best friend to help; our body is a living being, or more precicely, beings. Mainly im just good at destroying stuff, scar tissue, colds, infections.

I think you already know how energy heals Yosef, you were healed in your near death experience. I'm not saying you do, but dont let your new gifts become a way to gain recognition, I've been weak in that area before.. God really frowns on that.

Don't think of me as an expert but maybe you gave away part of your own energy. That would explain why your patient felt good and you suffered after effects. Most if not all of my headaches start off in the morning when i don't get enough sleep or when i sleep too much. You probably lost more energy than you usually recover during your sleep and thus, you woke up with a headache.
