phenomenal experience

The most amazing experience has happened to me.   I woke up 5 am and couldn't fall asleep for an hour and as I was falling asleep the usual sleep paralysis crept upon me but this time the vibrations were so strong and the buzzing through the ears was so strong and I am not scared of it, I found I can actually control how long I want to last in the state for, when i listen to the buzzing I stay in the state longer and the vibrations get strong, they got so strong at one point i swear i felt a pressure as if some energy was about to burst out of my body. 

Now I believe something beyond the physical is happening, science requires an experiment to be repeatable in order to be valid, as long as the experience is repeatable to me I am happy but I want to try and get additional evidence, I want to make some device to detect this, even if i detect a change of heat or body temperature when I am having this experience I will be satisfied.  I know there has to be something to prove that what I go through isn't delusions but something real.  I know I am not schizophrenic because this happens when I am asleep and my body is paralyzed, I know I am not dreaming because I have dreamed many times in my lifetime and I can tell that apart from this.  In dreams I am not conscious and do not reason with myself like I do when I start feeling the vibrations and start hearing the buzzing sounds and think to myself and say "it's happening again better explore it"

Don't try to make a device... it won't show this. There is no change in body heat or anything like this, and if there was there are a lot of other explanations for it.

What you would need is to hook yourself up to a machine that scans your brain activity etc. change will occur there. Then you could take constant kirlian photography of your body while doing this, there might also be a change.

In any case, you don't need scientific proove... there are alot of people who can varify what your saying since they experience it too.

Oh and science will declare it a hallucination (sp?), since from their standpoint it is.

It's just the ol' ethereal body trying to align itself with the astral body syndrome. Happens to me all the time.

Or just pick a random card out a deck or something and try to see what it is.

Atheists will look at the evidence and say "this isn't conclusive" and then continue running naked in the streets.  I wouldn't bend over backward to disprove their belief system.

But it would be interesting if you got an electromagnetic field meter and left it on while you project.  Once you're a spirit, move toward the meter and see if it acts up.  It would yield some valuable data for ghost hunters

Its possible, not a bad idea. Once again though this is assuming the energy at work is emf, it could be a combination of magnetism and something else who the heck knows for sure. I had an idea though Ive been trying to do on my own for some time. I keep forgetting then Ill get a spontaneous obe and kick myself in the a$% later for forgetting about setting it up. Anyway I remember a long time ago researchers went a long way to disprove evp's and there was one idea out there that what evps were our thoughts. That perhaps it was the recorder who affected the tape with their mind. So they held recording sessions where people would try to "plant" sounds, voices on tapes using their minds and with some amount of success. Once again though replicating something doesnt prove the idea replicated is any less real. Anyway the experiment: Leave a tape recorder recording, digital would be better for longer recording times, and then go about producing an obe. Once out go up to the tape recorder and try to figure out how to get your voice to be recorded. The times I did have it set up and I did get out I was able to try for a few moments at a time upon re-entering I listened to the tape and heard faint sounds, and some fluctuation of white noise, I amplified it and could hear talking and sounds but unless I heard my voice loud and clear or at least decently I cant use it as proof to myself that I did in fact do it. Anyway I just thought someone else might be interested in trying that out. Fun times. Regards,
