The book i would recommend at the momment is "Astral Dynamics" its extremely good.

As an aside, I have a 4-month old boy relative whose surname is 'Otter'. 

And yes, his first name is Harry.  Seriously.  I worry about bullying in 5 year's time...

I would recommend the Robert Monroe trilogy, simply because they're good reads. Don't buy into everything in them, though.

If you can find it: "Mastering Astral Projection in 90 Days" by Robert Bruce and... that other guy. I havn't really done the 90 Day Program, simply because I don't have the patience and I'm a little full of myself. But who knows, maybe YOU can stick to it?
