I know I'm gonna mispell his name, but have you heard of that Nostradamus guy? The one that made all the predictions? What's yer opinion on him, Melody?

Wikipedia has quite an interesting article on Nostradamus.

It appears Nostradamus borrowed from other prophetic texts, to the point that some of his "prophesies" could be plagiarism. He himself denied on several occasion of being a prophet. His 'prophesies' are never clearly defined, and could not be deciphered before the event. They are "back view" interpretations. Also, in the past, the translations were done in such a way as to fit the evens that already took place.

There are claims that Nostradamus had some old Kabbalah texts with ancient mysteries, and he became prophetic by training himself in old occult techniques from those books. However, towards the end of his life he destroyed his entire library. Some speculate he did it because he though this was a dangerous knowledge for people, based on evoking dubious spirits and demons from the "other world". On the other hand, maybe he burned his library simply so people would not discover right away that he made some free use of other existing prophesies... who knows.

Bible states that it is a Word of God, the word of the God of the living. I therefore personally (since you asked me for my opinion) prefer and value biblical prophesies rather than those form other sources.

Edgar Casey channeled his readings. He always started them with "We..." and not "I". So who were those 'we"? Dead spirits? He had a close connection to masons – his grandfather was a high ranking freemason. Later, he had a close friend David Kahn who was an active Mason. Edgar and his father belonged for many years to the Woodmen of the World lodge, though it seems not to have been directly a freemasonic lodge, as per the this website from which the following quotations are taken:

Professor Veith discusses how archeology, history and prophesies are expressed in the Bible. He also speaks of Pharaoh Tutmosis III who wrote the "Book of Dead" and who was considered to be the chief occultist. The video also speaks of Moses and early Christianity.
