I was told something about a past life experience by my guide. Then, another time, I was given a glimpse into a future lifetime.

Sorry...they are too personal to share. But I thought I'd let you know that it is possible, but it isn't done, at least not in my experience, very often. Usually only for a specific reason.

Not for me. Both times this occurred while I was phasing. It wasn't a feeling of having done something before. In both cases, it was fleeting images, coupled with what I term "data download." Oftentimes when I'm phasing if I see someone or something, I get an instant dump of info -- not sure how else to explain it. It isn't linear, it's like I suddenly know all of the back story to an image/person without anyone telling me or showing me. So, nothing like deja vu.

The original poster is curious about time travel in Astral projection as am I. I have read a few posts concerning the absence of time, astrally. The posts seem to often speculate the notion of astral time travel or talk about deja vu and discuss other vague impressions of what they MAY or may not have sensed. in the past or the future.

I am tired of all the pussyfooting around when it comes to the subject of time travel in Astral projection. What I and i'm sure others want to know (including the original poster) is, is it actually possible to do.

The definition of time travel astrally to me would be kind of like being a spec of conciousness whilst viewing events that have transpired in the past or are going to happen in the future. Of course with no way of interacting with the environment so not to disrupt time.

Please no more beating around the bush of what deja vu feelings someone might have had or what someone thinks they might have seen again from the past....has anyone actually been able to conciously view there past or future whilst in the OBE state?

If not it seems to me it might as well be declared not possible considering all the heresay and uncertainty/vagueness of the time travel aspect in astral projection, so please lets hear some REAL time travel accounts whilst out of the body. (if there even is any).

Look up the "Akashic Records" thats what you're after. Everything that has happened leaves an energetic imprint there in the astral and you can go and view all these events if you wish. As for the future there are only future probabilities... I guess you could look at a few probabilities for the future but they'd have to be the near future.

My first projection I wound up in a house I lived in 2 - 3 years ago (it no longer exists in that state anymore) so if you wanna count that as "time travel" be my guest but to me it was just a cool experience.

I responded to the initial poster's question. I told them that I had seen a glimpse/snapshot of a future lifetime for me. I didn't intentionally ask to see it, it was shown to me. So yes it is possible. The akashic records are another place to go for that info -- I have visited a past time while there. Not viewed it, as I did with the future glimpse shown to me, but actually stepped into it.

The poster then asked if it was like deja-vu. To me, it is completely different from deja-vu, and I replied as much.

It's easy to see why people in every generation think that the world will end during their life time. We always seem to be heading towards some overwhelming climax, then life goes on.

Hallo all 
The old saying of "Be careful what you wish for because you might just get it" comes immediately to mind when thinking about out of body time travel. During an OBE sometime in the late 1990s I had an opportunity to time travel yet deliberately chose not to do it! Here is what happened.

Most of the OBE was rather mundane. I just floated around inside my apartment with no real intent or focus. Then, about 10 to 15 minutes into the OBE, I saw a sort of portal or door appear in the window. In this portal I saw a dark misty landscape and then a French soldier appeared in view. He was dressed in the uniform of a World War One soldier. He stopped and began to look in at me. It was almost as if he expected me to come through the portal and enter his time period - sometime between 1914 and 1918 - World War I ! This incident was most unexpected and I was very much caught off guard. Now I have no doubt that I Could have gone through that (time) portal but I definately chose Not to do so. Whatever would have happened if I had done so would most probably have been very bad. So I passed on the chance to time travel and was happy that I did.

BTW I can post the OBE in full here if anybody is interested in reading it.

This is in response to Mark614's post.

Its interesting you were able to directly recieve future information on something such as future football results.

I have done a little research on the whole earth dimension time travel possibility when going astral.
It seems to me from what I have read and heard from other people who have astral time traveled is it is hard to get specific information about the future. Why? because when one time travels via astral travel they are viewing an infinite number of possible timelines. Possible futures. It seems to be a case of fishing out the most common outcomes of (for example football results) in lots of possible future timelines which umongst would possibly be the actual timeline that occurs in the future.

It also seems some events are more destined to happen than others, for example an very elderly person dying from old age would be imminent to happen on most timelines where if she was to die in a car accident It would be alot less likely so less common on possible future timelines.

Were you really able to get this future info with no flaws Mark614? it seemed to easy from what you've said. Was there anything you were wrong about or was it all as you saw it?
