Something that has been puzzling me about ancient egypt is how they cut rocks harder than their tools as this is an impossibility... whilst some people subscribe to the notion that ancient egypt possesed high technology, I do not.

This site explains how the egyptians did it! The proccess of geopolymerization was used so the stones were soft, at this point they were shaped with copper tools and then left to cure (harden). Im so pleased I stumbled upon this.

Whoa... you just scared me a little there Ebodied Words. First talking about goats and now extraterrestial love.

I wouldn't say it solves all the mystery with the pyramids. It seems more of an alterntaive to the stones being cut by aliens than a complete explanation. How does it explain the perfect 90 degree or straight cuts of the stones? I'm not one way or the other with the pyramids. I like to dabble in the theories, but I prefer the mystery until something rock solid comes out.

The thing that bothers me most about these mysteries, is that we probably won't figure it out in my lifetime. Unless of course, the big deal about 2012 is that we will find out then, and THAT will be the big catalyst that changes everything. Catalyst is a cool word...
