there are a number of audio cds available which help to induce OBEs,which sounds like a helpful tool,especially if you're having little success with traditional methods.my question is-in people's opinions,how well do they work?
And,would using this method to achieve OBEs lessen one's ability to reach the desired state without using the cds?

i've recently had a few OBEs,so traditional methods are obviously working for me,but a tool which works every time would be amazing!
what do you guys think??

Binaural beats work for me but not at the time I listen to them- Usually 2-3 days after I do.  I don't use them unless I'm having a dry spell or need to relax (some of them are very relaxing).
I wouldn't recommend them too much, but occassionally, I can't imagine why not.  After all, even if they didn't work for OBE induction, synchronizing your hemispheres is good for you for many other reasons.

Yeah, binaural beats helps/has helped me in having a conscious out-of-body-experience. Some CD's that I used seem to work more better than others. Overall, I would say that they increase my chances significantly (that's what it seems like).

And,would using this method to achieve OBEs lessen one's ability to reach the desired state without using the cds?

After you've use binaural beats for awhile, you'll notice/should notice that it takes less time for you to reach the state you desire.

It doesn't work every time but while you use them, don't be surprised if you have an experience of some sort, like phasing, a lucid dream, an out-of-body experience, etc.

Can some one put more information : which ones are best to use for OBEs (binaural beats) ? Can we download them for free some where ? Which software is required to play them (I have the Brainwave Generator). Help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

yeah-i was about to go and buy Robert Bruce's Mastering Astral Projection,but if there's something more effective out there....

I have both Support for Journeys out of the Body and the CD version of Mastering Astral Projection, and MAP is the only one that has actually induced an OBE as I listened to it.
However, neither is free.
The BWGen that comes with the book version of MAP is free, but you still have to get the book to get it.  So, ...

I have tried all sorts of audio files, probably every single one that is out there. From the $20 - Astral Travel in 15 minutes guaranteed to the most expensive option.

I am sold on one product in particular: Hemi-Sync

It's a bit pricey but sounds the most relaxing of every single one I've ever heard. It is now around $70-80 but used to be several hundred.

I just bought MAP today.gonna start the 90 day course after new year.i think it'll definitely help to have a structured course to stick to,as i'm so easily distracted by life.(who isn't tho?)
