I need help developing an affirmation for manifesting income, not a material th

After reading Adrian's Feb 9th 2008  newsletter regarding manifesting money, I am left pondering on how I can manifest my desire to earn $500 per day income. Adrian stated in this newsletter that the universe does not recognize money but rather the things you can purchase with the income.

Here is my problem, I desire this level of income so I can easily pay off my bills, be at peace with myself and simply enjoy life.  Thus my real desires are not tangible things like cars and house etc. All that comes with a comfortable , sustainable income. My real desire is to loose the financial worries , be at peace with myself, be joyful, live a full, abundant and comfortable life. $300 to $500 per day would do that for me.

My next issue is I am in a business of intangibles in that I do not have customers to focus an affirmation on either. Due to circumstance I would up trading stocks for a living  for myself. There was not much else I could do for myself at the time as I also found myself with a bit of a disability that does not allow me to return to my former employment now.  I am a day trader  hunting for dinner in an intangible cyber world. Kind of like the cave man hunting for his next meal everyday. Fortunately the Stock Market is a place where opportunities to buy and sell for profit happen every day. There is much knowledge and skill required for this line of work and I believe I have that. I would like to apply a proper manifestation technique  or affirmation to my efforts to make trading opportunities flow my way easier.

I meditate daily with special attention to manifesting my desired income of $500 per day. I believe I am doing things correctly with the exception of using $500 per day  as the object of my desire. How can I convert my desire of a steady $500 per day Income affirmation, which the universe does not recognize because it is money, into what I really want which is also intangible.Could I simply affirm  the following, I am a successfull stock trader. My high level of stock trading success brings me all of the financial abundance, comfort , joy and happiness that I desire.   The problem I see with this affirmation is everything in it is also an intangible that the universe may not recognize.

Instead of $500 a day to find a piece of mind, maybe you can find it in your current situation. Everyone thinks that winning the lottery will make there lives better, but the only sure-fire method to improve life permanently is by permanently changing your perception of it. Even if meditating on money all day made it magically appear in your wallet, it's only a temporary appeasement. Meditation becomes an act of fulfilling desires rather than finding the truth and reality about yourself and who you are before thoughts and desires fill your mind. Money is tangible, and therefore dies & deteriorates. There is a part of each of us that doesn't, that is immortal, and it's much more important and worthwhile to use mediation to find that than to manifest some fast cash.

I understand that this doesn't stop a person's negative physical situation. That's why its important to find the balance between a spiritual/meditational life with your physical life, and live in a way that nourishes both, where they feed off of each other. Money is important, but it's just a tool and should not dictate our happiness.

Instead of focusing on money, focus on where you want to be at in life, and let that manifest. The universe may bring it to you in very unexpected, surprising ways, rather than a quick check.
