Good news...
His surgery this morning went very well, and he's doing good.  My mom says he's not really awake from all the anestheisa (sp?) but by tonight he'll be more aware.  He'll then be in the hospital until Tuesday as they monitor him and make sure nothing happens, as well as start giving him physical therapy.  I'm about to leave for the hospital in a couple minutes.  Thanks Child of the Forest for the help!

Hey all!

My dad goes in for heart surgery tommorrow at the age of 52.  I just got back from the hospital tonight. They're doing a lot of x-rays and preparations right now.  The heart surgery he's heaving isn't as risky as some others, but surgery in general can always be risky.  He'll be in the hospital for 5 days, and then he comes home and will be pretty much wiped out for several months.  He's taking a 3 month leave from work.  If you could just take 5 seconds and send a prayer that he'll make a quick and successful recovery, it would be greatly appreciated.
