Several years ago i met a person through a friend. Ever since i met this person i noticed that there was something kinda mystical about him. Anyway, after spending some time with this person he soon became one of my closest friends. After little time he told me about astral projection, telekinesis, ghosts, Illuminati, reptillians, aliens and so forth. Now ever since i was a kid I've been very interested in the paranormal and aliens etc, and though i want to believe everything he has told me a part of me don't. I have asked at least two people who know him, especially my friend who introduced me to him and while one of them say that he can be hard to believe sometimes, they have either said that,  they found what he said to be true.. or, that they experienced things around him.

Now my friend knows my suspicion towards him cause i wanna be honest about it towards him, cause even though i doubt i still consider him as one of my closest friends. He understands, he says it is unfortunate and this is what the system we live in drills into us, that we should not trust people with such thoughts that the general public believe in. He won't show me anything (telekinesis) for example, cause he don't believe in forcing the mind to believe something, I think it sounds fair.

Though i must say that i don't totally disbelief, recently i have began to notice how fracked up our "system" is and i remember vivid dreams of flying from when i was little -  i also tried AP before but only managed some lucid dreaming. I tried telekinesis and I'm quite sure i moved a psi "wheel" under a glass and i have done a exercise to channel chakra and it felt like warm silk on my arm.

But.. i can't believe whole heartedly.. i need to either experience something myself or see something that you just can't deny.

So I've joined your forum in search for truth and spiritual enlightenment

I spent the last.. i don't know? 3-4 years of my life trying to get my head around this, I would love to talk to other people who are into this kind of stuff and especially who have experienced it.

hey eon, you've come to the right place!  Nothing is better than having your own experience.  It's great that you have already tried a few things which have triggered your interest.  Continue to learn by reading and discussing with others, and trying out a few techniques.  This forum and the internet in general are fantastic resources for related material.  It is important that you keep an open mind when you try these techniques because this universe gives you back what you expect.  If you expect to experience nothing out of the ordinary, that's exactly what you'll get.  Your thoughts, mindset and emotions decide what you experience in the physical dimension.

What your friend claims to be able to do, are all possible.  Whether HE does them or not I don't know.  But at least he has sown a seed of interest in you, which has obviously started growing.  So, in fact, his work is done here!

look up this forum's book recommendations page and get yourself a good book - that will be a good start!

Good luck with your journey
Venus  :-)

It isn't. We only know things because we experience them, and then use our reason/judgment to make sense of our experience, so that we can better approach the truth. If you believe something without experience, and without reason, you are engaged in fantasy. You might, by luck, have a fantasy that corresponds to reality, but you are much more likely to deceive yourself. To make lies your hiding place. Don't let people deceive you in such a manner.

Of course, there is the issue of faith, that is, the issue of trust. If your experience of this person leads you to judge his character as truthful, believing him is different. You have to remember though, he might be lying to himself.
