so..
I have a lot of things in mind relating to various topics so I just thought I'll post it all under one same topic and hope for someone to answer.

First of all,
The Monroe Institute. I didn't really understand from the website what it's all about, what is the focus 10 etc etc mentioned and there and so on. What exactly do you do there, how will it effect my life afterwards, my consciousness etc..
I would really like to hear from someone who has been there and tried their courses what it's like and how it helped him.

Secondly,
the opinions regarding to dreams, projections, obes are various and i have yet come to an understanding of my own.
Some people say that when you dream, your consciousness is projected to the astrals and the only difference is therefore in your perception and the fact that in a dream you are responsible for the scenery, people etc whilst when projecting, you are viewing the public astral. Some say that turning a lucid dream into a projection is almost impossible because you will just dream about projecting when in fact you won't exit your body. Reading about various techniques made me think that I should try converting a lucid dream into a projection. One important question will then be, how can I determine whether I am viewing the public Astral Planes or simply figments of my own imagination / subconscious

Also, could you enter from a lucid dream the real time zone? (obe - "etheric projection")

Another question I have is regarding the known WILD technique.
The WILD technique is to my best knowledge very familiar to astral projection techniques.
Letting the HI come and eventually to enter it.
One question would be how to determine if the HI are pictures from the Astrals or from your dreamland.

Lastly,
I have heard a lot in this forum about "Astral Dynamics"
What exactly is this book and where can i find it?

Thanx in advance to everyone who will help me, reply to my questions, and to all who take the time to read them.

The Monroe Institue was created by Robert Monroe, who wrote a series (at the time) of ground breaking books on OBEs. I think they were called Journeys Out of the Body, Far Journeys, and Ultimate Journey. Probably three of my favorite books, if you haven't read them and are serious about OBE's/Astral Projection you should pick up a copy.

From what I understand TMI was created to further explorer the levels human consciouness and to help others do the same. They also developed Hemi-sync, and other fun things. I've never taken their courses, but would love to. I hope you find someone that has; if that's what interests you.

And that's you opening a can of worms into philosophy, which only you can answer for yourself. For me I know am I not dreaming because I'm completely aware, to the point where it is no different than the here now. I've had lucid dreams and that's not at all what I'm talking about, the two are completely different (for me at least).

*Puts on his Matrix Shades* How do you determine what is real and what is not real? Because you can touch it? smell it? taste it? feel it? see it? hear it?

I'm aware as I am in waking reality, so it's real to me. I really don't care if I'm not actually leaving my body (which I'm really not, as time space is an illusion, and if space is an illusion how can I have a body?, but again that would be opening a can of worms). It doesn't matter to me if it's in actuality "real" or not -- but I *choose* to believe it is real, as I choose to believe this right now is real.

It's something you have to decide on your own.

I think so, from what I've read... I've always went to the RTZ from the physical, but I think others have done it that way.

If I'm correct when this forum was first started it was more or less the semi-offical forum the author of "Astral Dynamics" -- Robert Bruce used and pointed people to in his book. Astral Dynamics is a sort of bible of Astral Projection, (in 1998 or so? I haven't kept up with books for awhile) and it was the best practical guide on how to Astrally Project / have an OBE.
