Hi All,

About 10 years ago when I lived in Georgia, a friend of mine and myself made our way back home from Atlanta. We were headed towards Chattanooga which is a town in Tennessee located 100 miles north of Atlanta. It was a 1.5 hour drive and was during the night, my friend was driving crazy and I had to tell him repeatedly to slow down and drive normal.

I got home in one peice around 11 PM and laid down for sleep. About 30 minutes later I felt myself drift off to sleep. Suddenly I woke to find myself fully conscious and behind the wheel of a car that was traveling at what felt like 100 mph through a field in the pitch black. There was no windshield in the car and I could feel the wind rushing in on me. I could not see anything and I was terrified, I knew in my mind that I had actually been driving and was dreaming that I made it home and now had actually woke up after falling asleep behind the wheel and was in a field about to die. The thing is, I was dreaming and the dream was more real than reality. I was fully aware of myself and had full control of myself.

I woke up about 10 seconds later and was literally kicking the wall because in the dream i was frantically stomping the brake trying to stop.

When considering how real this seemed and the fact that I could feel the wind on my face etc, could this have possibly been an OBE?

Best Regards

David

Sounds like a lucid dream to me. Which is cool too. I know some people say a lucid dream isn't THAT coherent and realistic, but many of mine are.
