wow thats a really good method. I just did that and could see my aura right away. My third eye isnt fully developed so I could not see it in color and I probably only saw the first layer of it but thanks.

I've never done any type of "real" energy work.  Practically none at all but im gonna give this a shot.  When i'm done, i'll post the results.[8D]

Hmmmm I did it unlin my arms got tired, about 2 mins or 1 1/2 lol.  BUT Since I haven't had any past experience, I didn't know what to look for.  I don't think I saw much, except for sa small wavy distorion around my fingertips, only where the white was.  But I dont think that was my aura, it reminded me of wavy lines over gas or on the horizon on asphalt on a hot day.  YOu know?  But are you sure that's not just the image looking at the computer screen creates?  Not to sound like a disbeleiver, just being skeptical.  [:P]

You're quite welcome, Hashpuppet! My third eye is not fully developed also, but I can see white "fog" coming from my fingers easily with this method.

Shawn, I'm not sure if it's really aura what I see around my fingertips,  but I suspect it might be the etheric part of it. The reason why I think it't aura, is because it moves and changes when I move my hands. There is also connection between fingers when they are close together, it's like there are milky lines going from one finger to another.

This works also in 3d, I mean if you see the lines, and move your hand a little bit towards the monitor, while the other is moving towards you the connection can be seen to follow the fingertips.

Try this:

1. Dim the lights slightly in the room, open notepad(in windows) with new document and resize it to full, so that you have plain white backround.

2. Position yourself about 0.5-1 meter away from the monitor and bring your hands between you and the monitor. Your palms should be facing you with fingers pointing to each other so that there is about 2cm gap between fingers. Fingers of same hand should also be apart. You should be in a position like you were hugging a tree.

3. Move your arms slowly up and down, so that when right hand goes up, the left hand goes down and vice versa. Range of motion shouldn't be too wide. Move one hand about 5cm up and at the same time the other 5cm down.  Keep moving hands back and forth and keep looking at the fingertips as they move. Don't stare intensily, just gaze at them softly. Do this at least a minute and tell me what you see.
