My 'Personality' Changes in the Astral - Is this Common?

Hi!

I am new here, but yesterday, I had a spontaneous OBE (as have been all of my experiences, by the way).

Anyway, I have noticed when I am in the astral, my personality seems to shift from the person I *believe* I am when I am in my conscious, waking mode, to something quite different.

I become almost mischievous - sort of a like a hell-raiser - a bit 'evil' like you would think a benevolent poltergeist is, without being too mean.

Well, that's what I felt yesterday during my OBE, and I've felt this personality before, although I am NOT that way in waking life.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced an astral personality which is different from their 'normal', waking personalities, and if so, do any of you know whether this is normal?  I don't want to be an 'evil' astral traveler, but I have to wonder if this personality is in me somewhere, and that maybe I'm evil (mischievous) on the astral level?

I never considered myself to be a 'bad' person, so now I'm worried.

I have heard that the left brain side of your waking life is sometimes lacking in the astral planes. What could be a possible explanation is that during your waking life your logical / left brain side keeps this mischievous side of you under control because of obvious reasons.

Julie, you choose your actions and thoughts in the astral, well, we should be vigilant on our thoughts so as not to create what is not. If you find unwanted tendencies, you do not have to act on them.. you have the power Julie.

What was it that you did while out of body that was so wild and out of character ??
