I've been really interested in astral projecting for a while now, and have been trying to project for a couple of months now.  I can easily relax, and have been able to completely "numb" my body, but have yet to feel any vibrations. On several occasions I might have felt something, but it isn't very intense like I've read about them. I've tried many methods, but none seem to work. What are some things I could try, or methods that have worked for people, after becoming fully relaxed, to induce the vibrational stage.  Also, I doubt it has anything to do with fear, which I only had for a week or so, when I didn't really know too much about astral projection.

Try energy body loosening techniques. Raising energy just before bed also helps. I like to get in full body relaxation and just before sleep paralysis I begin flowing the energy through my body. Then I do a double spinning technique. Ive never read about this technique but it seems to come naturally to me. Once in Mind Awake /Body asleep I imagine my energy body spinning in one direction while my physical body spins in the other direction. Be careful this can bring on a serious brief case of vertigo. Very soon after that my full sensations start. Sight change, Vibrations, heart chakra activation, floating up and out etc. There will be no mistaking the vibrations in the begining get ready mine were quite alarming. Many a times in the begining they ruined my exits. The Vibes have now become just a warm slight buzzing sensation.

This technique sounds cool, I think think I will try it.

It's odd, but when I first started posting on this forum I only remembered one OBE as a child. Now I seem to be remembering more and more of them as a small child.

I would lay in bed at night and I could literally make myself feel like I was on a ferris wheel, floating in water, spinning at extreme speeds with an axis near my belt or like wheel of fortune style. The one I remember most is that all of the sudden I would be traveling up a hill at an extreme speed and then crest the hill and go flying through the air. The hill usually resulted in waking up very quickly before hitting the ground. I could also make the entire bed feel like it flipping over and over with me still laying on it. I remember sinking through the bed several times too.

I wonder why I am suddenly remembering all of this?

You need to dip slightly into unconsciousness to get the vibes going, just for a second, more and you will fall asleep. Its a fine balance. Sometimes they are not so strong, but you may still get some sensations.

Vibes are an indication that your brain has disconnected from the physical reality (senses are shut down), and is ready to go unconscious within a second or two. However if you manage to keep conscious you will find that vibes fade and you feel yourself weightless, floating in a very dark and silent space. Now you can travel, if you are already out, else use an exit technique.
