So i kept waking up in the morning (like 10 times) from random dreams and saying "ok this time i will remember that i am dreaming" . So sure enough I did. I was on a soccer field and was playing soccer and all of a sudden i said "i am dreaming this is a dream, i am now lucid" But unfortunately i really wanted to continue with the soccer dream because now that i knew i was lucid i wanted to score a goal! so i said well i will score this goal and then do other stuff. to make a long story longer, I went to go score the goal, got it stolen from me and slipped back into the dream. So what the hell.... This has happened before, i cant seem to stay lucid. I didn't even score!

Tips for staying lucid?

Also, in my net dream i knew i was dreaming and said oh im dreaming. But then i said, oh no i must be awake because that was to easy.....wtf. I'm ticked at dream logic.

Good news, I'm getting closer.

sorry for the length

Yes this happens to me also.  I become Lucid in many of my dreams, then loose control and slip back into the dream or I cant take full control.  I will either wake up or slip back into the dream.   I always remember the part of my dream where I was lucid with much more depth.  I recall smells, feelings, looks, shades...etc.

Everytime I try to project while being lucid, I wake up.   I have tried flying upwards and ended up flying in space in my dreams, or I flew upwards and shot out of my bed fully awake.  (im positive it was a dream)

I would like some help getting full control of my dreams also.

I replied in the other place you posted this.  But this happens to me too.

I can never take full control, or I do and then I wake up.  It sucks

I would like any input on how to better take control.  I have tried telling myself this a few times before bedtime.  Anything else?

5 layers of a lucid dream. some kids talks about it on you tube. Anyways, according to him this way a layer 2 experience. where you know your dreaming but don't fully grasp the concept of a dream or don't care enough to go fully lucid.

This always happened to me, but after reading a bit on here and a few books, I stay lucid for long periods now. I write my dreams down in the morning ( If this is any help), also the key I think is to "NOT GET EXCITED". Stay very calm.
I know this is hard some times to do if it involves any thing of a sexual nature.

This has happened to me in a LOT of my lucid dreams. I think maybe it has something to do with attachment to the storyline of the dream. Maybe clearly separating your will (making a goal), from the dream story's purpose (also making a goal). As to how you would go about doing that? ... Hmmm ... Well maybe focusing on what it feels like to make that goal... like emotions, sensations, etc.

The dreams that REALLY REALLY upset me the next morning are the ones in which I am explaining to a friend or some random person what lucid dreaming is.... THE IRONY OF THAT.

I would like to mention a few things:
In normal sleep cycles, there is a moment of lucidity right before you wake.  You could say it happens to everyone and it's part of 'waking up'.  Most people don't notice every time, but those who can 'elongate' their waking up time notice that they usually wake up right after becoming lucid.
I think you already know what to do Lighten- if you wake up close them again and use affirmations to go back into the dream- if you succeed and are back in (or start another one) pick something in the dream to focus on and assign it 'lucidity value'- make it 'the' thing that will remind you you're dreaming.  Then go about your dream business, whatever that is.
Realize that lucid dreams tend to be short because of the natural (habit) tendency to wake after becoming lucid.

It is interesting that you knew it was a dream, wanted to stay in it long enough to score a goal, but still did not control the dream enough to make it happen.  Staying with the concept and setting of a dream is not the way to stay lucid- or to go beyond that.  I guess to really take control; you have to break the setting of the dream in some way, like to do something you know is not possible in real life.

One good example I have from a dream I had long ago- In the dream I found myself driving a motorcycle at high speed down a winding mountain road.  In the dream I realized that I must be dreaming this, because there was no way in real life that I would be doing this since I do not have or ride a motorcycle. I could have gone two ways here. I could have thought to myself since this is a dream, I want to feel what it is like to ride a motorcycle down this road, or I could just break this dream apart.  I chose to break it apart. When the next turn came up, I steered the thing out off of the cliff. As I started to fall, the dream disappeared, and I stayed lucid.
