My experiences! Need advice!

Hello all,
First, sorry for the bad english!  :-D
For the past 5 years i begun to have some astral projections.
I don't have it often, i've had like 8-10 experiences on those 5 years.
the First one i was afraid of the "body vibration".. it felt strange
Today i seek for it!  :lol: But i wish i had more... it happens when i least expect. I try to control it, "or to let it control me", but I can't to go further than the room i'm in!!!
Some of my greatest experience, I began to vibrate, then i was out of my body floating, floating floating, letting me go, suddenly i was on the top of the room touching the ceiling with my fingers thinking: "i wonder if i can pass through it?"... then i came back. it was so real, but i can't seem to extend (?) the experience.
the further i could go was going out of the window, flying. But i came back again, and couldn't vibrate anymore.
i tried to think a place where i wish to go once but it did not work.
i realize that i don't fear it at all, but i have some difficulty to "develop" the experience.

so i would like to know how to extend the experience and how to have it more often?
how often do you guys have it?

You could try doing some breathing and energy raising meditations before a projection attempt.

read robert monroes journeys out of body. the end of the book has a section all about how to astral project and i found it VERY helpful. i manage to induce the vibrations every day now

Meditate every night before bed... clear your mind of any mental chatter and place your focus on relaxing all the muscles in your body til you get that tingly feeling. I usually do this for 10-15 minutes, then fall asleep... more often than not I'll enter a lucid dream later on that feels OBE-like. If you wake up in the middle of the night, fight the urge to go back to sleep... wait a good 5 minutes (I usually watch television for a while) and meditate... for me 90% of the time this will result in the vibrations which lead into OBEs.

To extend an OBE experience, avoid extreme emotions like excitement... be a passive observer during the experience. Don't think about your body or where "you" are in relation to it... I do this sometimes and my experience usually ends at that point. Finally, concentrate on being aware on a moment to moment basis... once I was able to fight the forces wanting to end the OBE just by keeping my awareness "on the ball" so to speak.

interception, I really need to improve my breathing. I've noticed that... not only to improve the OBE, but the everyday life.

oneironaught, I just got this book. Looks interesting! It's great that you can induce vibrations everyday, I wish I could! I'll read it soon.

Astral316, I will try meditating and see if it helps. 90% of my astral projections (7 times, lol) was when I wake up in the middle of the night, and then sleeping again after a while OR taking a nap on a sunday afternoon.

I did that everytime.. it could be why i didn't go too far  :|

What's the difference, on Extending the experience, in Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection?
I'm asking this because I can extend Lucid Dreaming for like 1 hour and none for Astral P.
