Interesting experience today.

I was driving to work after having lunch and all of a sudden, I had a memory of myself before I incarnated to this world. I was discussing with other beings, the body I would inhabit and what life obstacles I would have to try and overcome. After the memory, I was filled with electricity and got goose bumps all over.

Has anyone ever experienced something similar?

I had an OOB experience where it seemed I was having a meeting - a sort of mid-term review- of the life I was in at this point here.  I have not had a sudden memory of a between life meeting as you describe.  You may want to read "Journey of Souls" by Michael Newton.

Yeah, that goes along with the concept that we roughly map out our lives before we incarnate.

The one about that situation you describe in particular, I was with my "guy" before I incarnated. We were going over what needed to be done by both of us in this life. I remember him being in a long deep scarlet robe saying something like "Are you sure you want to do this?" I smiled and replied yes.

I have had a vivid experience once of a parallel existence. I was made to understand that it was a parallel incarnation and not a past one.

I was in among a highly advanced race. My body was this strange green crystal like substance with intricate golden technological inner workings. I guess it could have been a machine of some sort, as crude as that may sound. What is the human body but a sugar/oxygen converting machine?

I suppose these beings merged with their "machines" at some point. Not sure, it was not explained to me.

Thats awesome! I can see it in my head as youre describing it.

Ive had many past and parallel lucid/OBEs before. They all revolve around me and this one man being. Some of them are horrible, wonderful, and everything in between.

I don't know if you would care to know or already know this, but I read in a book that our soul actually decides are next life for us, the people in it, the hardships we would go through in order to improve ourselves in a desired way. I thiknk this is so interesting if this is true, because we always ask ourselves "why does this happen to me", and it was really our souls just trying to help us out!

I've read that too and the idea has merit. I've also read many other ideas/philosophies as to what our role is and who decides what. In fact, I've come to the point where I don't even care anymore. Whatever it is will reveal itself in due time.

One thing is for sure, it is one crazy, wild ride!

This idea makes the whole karma concept obsolete. Two or more "oversouls" sit around a table and decide the experiences and interaction their incarnation(s) will have and what it will teach them.

Oversoul one: "So I am going to shoot you in the head at one point. This will teach you not to bring a knife to a gunfight, all right?"
Oversoul two: "Okay, sounds like fun."
