You guys need to think about what astral projection does to you.It puts us in trances and opens up to the devil.Don't you notice the light headiness you get after you have  meditated for awhile? The devil could slip right in and mess with our minds! stop before it's to late! :-o

Based on your previous posts I actually think you're serious.

Anyway, the gist of your post is based on fear. The devil has much better things to do. But, you have some valid points. Anything we do can open us to negative influences, and we don't need to astral project to be influenced by them. Experimenting with things that are, well experimental is often dangerous.

We don't know all the answers, we seek them. Explorers have died in the past, but without them we'd never come out of the cave. We'd never evolve and expand our potential.

The problem is if what we are doing is dangerous we'd probably never know, because we'd never live to tell about it. On the outside it would seem you just died in your sleep, if you were possessed or otherwise influenced you may never snap out of it to tell your story.

I've had some strange encounters which makes me lean towards saying that bad things can happen and go wrong, even so I think it's worth it. If you truly believe in your viewpoint then walk away, stay in the cave.

The so called "devil" does not need one to be in any sort of trance to "slip right in". People are born with the "devil" inside.
The "devil" in the this case represents basic human greed, selfishness, ignorance, and fear.

Please, don't try to blame astral projection for people's evil just because it doesn't quite fit into a neatly packaged "Sunday Bible School" view of reality.

zorg, I know we've had this conversation before.
But I'll bite anyway:

First of all, when you leave your body you don't leave it empty.  So your spirit is still in it, and even your awareness is there in some form.  So there's no empty 'space' for anything to slip in while you're out.
2- We project while we sleep, so if anything wanted to get us it'd do it while we sleep.  Since we're completely unconscious for some of the deep sleep time, this would give anything ample opportunity to do whatever 'it' wanted.
3-What causes problems with AP is that it teaches us to stay aware when our bodies go to sleep.  The reason is that since we do it anyway, we might as well be awake and experience the process.  Since some things can be scary (there are entities out there that can take scary form) we can 'see' or 'experience' what happens when we're usually unconscious.  This can cause extreme fear for the unprepared and can unhinge someone who isn't balanced in the first place, and can scare the living daylights (at least temporarily) to those who are more stable.  But eventually we learn to deal and actually progress beyond fear.  This is the danger of Astral Projection.  Awareness.

I won't repeat the thing about the devil because Steel Hawk already said it.
If there was a being that was as powerful as primordial evil, and it took a shine to you, it really wouldn't matter if you were in trance, awake, or asleep.  You'd be up the creek, with a really teeny tiny paddle.

And now I'm really done with this.

Dont u see how vulnerable we humans are?
If there was something like an evil, it could crash us in now time.

It has to be the opposite...something is taking care of us, otherwise
we couldnt be the way we are.

Actually to get into such states of mind consistently you have to drive all sorts of demons away,  just the opposite from inviting them.

They are what is constantly disrupting your thoughts and interrupting you and taking you from this to that to make you forget that you don't know what you're doing here...

Try meditating yourself and see how much the demons will distract you.
What is the sound of no leaves cloving?

I usually fall asleep at some point, then I feel rested, and then remember dreams and visions.

I promise to stop trying to jump into people's bodies. I just can't resist sometimes.

Think I figured it out, really slow sometimes, sorry.

You couldn't resist the temptation to use the  devil emoticon. It sits there crying out to be utilized, I know, been there.

Got me to thinking about, how would we handle temptation if we started to develop extra sensory abilities learned from meditation?

Would we cope the way Jesus did when presented with the offer of worldly excesses and power?

Easy to imagine immediately reaping Las Vegas with prescience, or becoming a psychic mercenary, locating others enemy for hire.

Or you could see this as a starting point and use the time to continue progressing to realize a finer level of realization?
