Crooked Teeth

I've heard that in dreams, teeth are an important symbol, and I've come to realize that throughout my life, whenever I have dreams about my teeth... It actually means something.

This time, I'm having a bit of trouble interpreting this:

I had a dream that I walked into the bathroom, and looked into the mirror, expecting my normal, straight teeth. But instead, I opened my mouth and and saw that my lower teeth were extremely crooked. I was screaming in the dream, frustrated... I dont think I was in pain, but I was definately freaked out that my teeth were crooked... I desperately wanted them to go back to normal... and then was really wishing it to go back to normal... and they slowly were going back to being straight I guess?

Just wondering what that could possibly mean...

I dont know if this helps any or what not, but I recently started seeing this amazing guy that I'm totally head over heels for... and that prior to that I had a bunch of really bad relationships (still furious at my latest ex *broke up 6 month ago*: I had a dream about losing teeth before I broke up with him.)

... so yeah... just wondering if that dream means anything.

-thanks!

I have dreams where my teeth have fallen out. I later found out, it means I was embarrassed by something in my life. It might be true for you also.

Teeth-falling-out-dreams are about as common as late-for-exam dreams, and tend to happen during times of insecurity about a certain issue, like aging & physical appearance, or , eh-hem, a new fantastic relationship you want to see work out. You're the best at interpreting your own dreams, so maybe this will help you with your interpretation:

The thing about 'dream symbols' is I don't believe they are the same for everyone.  For instance I'd learned that teeth falling out meant you were talking too much and not listening enough and who knows if that one is correct.   It might be a good idea to look at the rest of the dream, and the emotions behind it.

I find your last paragraph interesting, and the fact that you felt the need to add it, could mean something.  Perhaps you feel you are not in control.. I mean, at first you couldn't control the fact that your teeth were crooked and you're still angry at the ex... even though it's been six months.  (Bit of advice.. let that baggage go.. that's waaay too long to give out your energy to someone who doesn't give a flip about you.. ya know?)

Anyways, I'd go with more of the emotion of the dream then the actual alleged symbol.

Good luck.  :-)
