Now what?

Okay ive been tinkering with astral projection on and off for the past 5 years or so and now im stuck. I can readily project every night(usually). What now? Is the astral world real time? Can i get a friend to leave an object in his room for me to tell him what it is later? Im confused as to what the point of all this is. Where will this lead me. Generally i will project and wander around my general area for a while. Going in and out of my body several times to check in on my surroundings around me. Then i always look up. I see a sky unlike any other ive seen in the physical and immediately take focus on the moon. Last night i made it to the moon. Not on the surface but around earths moon. When trying to land and walk around i overshot and went I'm guessing deep into space. I decided to wander around and look for more planetary bodies or for that matter anything around. I found nothing. I was hoping to find mars but to no luck. For some reason its hard for me to leave earths gravity. I know gravity isn't there for the simple fact i shoot myself clean around everywhere using my thoughts. Then i remember the physical and i start to fall plummeting back toward the ground. How can i prove this is real and not just my imagination? anyone more enlightened than myself please guide me.

You can visit a realm where you can do just about anything you want... why are you asking us?

What do *YOU* want to do?
What do *YOU* want to learn?
Who do *YOU* want to talk to and learn from?

I think you need to learn what your limitations are... then break them. 

If you truly can't think of anything do to... ask yourself why you keep going back.

i think part of my limitation is not being able to know for sure this is real. it feels so real. Is this another dimension that we exist on 24/7 we just tap into it during hours of meditation? or is this a mind game im playing with myself. how do i visit a person that is dead? can i?

Here are some ideas...these are the things I want to do when I am finally able to have a conscious AP!

1) Make sure the experience is real. Perhaps tell a friend to place a card in your room (face down) so you can AP and tell him what card it is. Or do that yourself.

Go into a room where people you know are talking and eavesdrop for a few minutes. Then confirm what you thought they said actually happened.

2) Meet with my spirit guide. Talk to him/her. Ask questions...spiritual development, questions regarding the future, questions about psychic development etc.

3) Travel back in time.

4) Visit deceased beings

5) Visit another country

6) Visit other dimensions

Ok, I can't think of anymore now. I would be so chuffed if I could do any of those.

That's something you'll need to figure out on your own really.
Do your own research, find your own conclusions and use your experiences as a filter.

When out... ask. 
Also... when out, try looking behind you.  People report meeting the strangest people there.
