After all of your training, on average how long are you able to stay out of body?

Thanks for all the info, a great read indeed.

Once again I did not OBE but I did get really close. I believe I was about to leave my body but then my stomach started hurting so I had to stop. If my stomach didn't hurt I could swear on my life I was about to leap out of my body. I was disoriented, relaxed, warm, and my memories echoed. If that's not close then I don't know what is.

The technique I used this time was kind of made up on the spot. I didn't give it a name and I'm not saying this hasn't been done before but what the hell.

The technqiue I used.

I did this breathing thing I guess I would call, "sets" or something.

Laying down, breathe in real deep with your nose and hold your breath. While holding your breath, make your muscles tense with a downward stretching motion, and try to make your body as straight as possible. After a few seconds relax your body and breathe out, then hold your breath, and make your muscles tense with a downward stretching motion, and try to make your body as straight as possible. This is what I would call a "set".

1. I did 5 sets
2. Then I tried to slow my thoughts instead of clearing my mind.

I slowly counted 3-2-1, 3-2-1, 2-1, 2-1, 1-1, 1-1, 1, 1 and then thought about what ever my brain thought about. The thoughts soon become random, and you start to think about many things at the same time.

3. Once my body felt weird I imagined I could see a plain white sphere in place of my brain from a 3rd person view.

I was disoriented, relaxed, warm, and my memories echoed

As for the protein deficiency, I broke down and bought some NITRO-TECH PROTEIN HARDCORE(extra extra wtf im so mean and ripped by muscletech)

Most of my experiences are short lived and others 5min-10min roughly. the longest experience that I had was sometime ago, was out for at least 30 minutes.. never thought it would end. I document to mp3 audio narration or on paper (depending on the experience). The lengthy the OBE, the time duration in physical is longer.

I did some tests to measure the difference in spiritual and physical times during the obe experience. I was able to capture on video many times my physical body during the obe and took note when the vibrations occurred and timed the experiences from there. physical time is deffinitely slower then spiritual time. even thou there isn't *time* on the other side, but still trying to measure the quick, fluidness of time differences it is important.

It took me 3 months of energy body development and meditation before i was able to even feel the vibrations. I was spending about two hours per day but i wasn't going to give up until i Astral projected. Eventually after about 5 or 6 months i was able to project and my hard work payed off.

So, instead of getting discouraged, you have to realize that it can take a long time. In the mean time you should read other peoples posts in the forum and learn from there experiences.

I'm not sure if I'm special or anything, but I don't think you need to do lots (or any) energy body work to "experience" the vibrations.
I certainly didn't.  But then, I guess for every rule... there's a broken one. :)

Some people may never have to do anything other than lie there, relax and use an exit technique.

Other people such as the OP may have to try harder than others.

It's the same in sports, some people are naturally gifted (Lebron James) and others have to work there asses off.

It's not a rule, it's a fact. The harder you try and the more effort you put into it that quicker you will see results.  :-)

Perhaps your mind is not relaxed.  I am not able to ap if my mind is not relaxed.  The mind has to be relaxed.  You could listen to the beats that people talk about.  Also, if you think you cannot ap, ap will be a lot harder to do.  If you are trying too hard and putting pressure on yourself, ap can become a lot harder as well.

I would forget about astral sex because it will not work.  If you get those feelings and it feels good, it will bring you back into your body.

 Suzy, this is a old post here that was just brought up again because of a member tagging SPAM to it. If you look the last reply was back in August 8th/2009. I don't think the poster expects it to be active anymore.
