A small pair of scissors does the job just as well, and it does not have the side effect of provoking sneezing by irritating the nose. Besides, with tweezers even it is not that bad.

heehee. That's our bodies' amazing technology for you.

Epsilon

LOL.  I hate using tweezers cause I never pull hard/fast enough so I end up suffering and sometimes I won't even get it the first try so I have to do it again... Then I end up sneezing for the next 5 minutes...ugh.  [:D]

My nose hair seems to have a pretty good grasp on where it has to stop growing...could this be the next evolutionary development for mankind? [:D]

lol it will be funny when some newbie joins and sees this post and has no idea what the heck we're talking about. My friend made a little sign he holds up every time he sees something he cannot comprehend. It says, "WTF?"

panabelle

I'm a silver poster (YAY) and I am waving my own personal little sign in the air. Whoops, wrong sign. [:I] No wonder that guy was shouting at me in Portuguese...[|)]

Ahhh...a worthy topic!

I found it best to use tweezers for where it doesn't hurt, and small - nail scissors for the sensitive areas. Just don't cut the skin insode your nose or you'll know about it for days!![xx(]

The worst thing is... you can't train nose hair.

James.

Just get one of these and wallah!  No more problems...

Yikes!  I guess the nose hair problem is a biggie.  Maybe it is a man thing.  Here's a woman thing:  I noticed a long hair coming out of my chin this morning.  Guess that means the big "change" is just around the corner.

More to the point - grit your teeth and use a tweezers. [:X]

panabelle

I agree, it must be a guy thing. Now, eyebrows are a different story...[xx(]

Leg/arm hair is what scares me!

It will grow a certain length, yet, somehow, it knows when you shave it, and grows some more, then stops!

How does it do that?~
I need a signature that isn't stupid. :/

I have a unibrow. you know what's really creepy? hair that grows out of moles.

Risu no Kairu

Ha ha ha. Unibrow. I don't have one of those. I have conjoined eyebrows. You can see where they're joined in my pic. It's in my gallery.

Yeah, I've noticed that about leg hair too. I haven't shaved it all winter practically ([:I]) but it's still the same length it was a month ago.

Hairs can grow out of moles?!?!?!?![xx(] Thank goodness I don't have any moles...[:D]

Tarconiss

Yes..... Sadly hair does grow out of moles..... i only have a few, and there not even big.... just little brown dots on the skin... i have one on my right sideburn area.... one on the side of my neck... and one on the underside of my left arm.... those produce some ofthe fastest growing hairs i've ever seen/plucked...... if i were to not pluck occasionally, on my eye brows, i would have a mild uni-brow too.... * deep breath * Damn ye' hairs!!

oh.. another strange hair anomaly that i have.... theres a blond patch of hair on the top/back/right side of my head.... anyone know if natural blond streeks mean anything?
If someone has the knowledge, and wants to do something, how far do you think they can go, if they lack the experience, and are unable to sustain the amount of effort needed to succeed?  ~ Self 2/25/2003

To the lady's in the audience -

Yes the nose hair issue is definitely a guy thing, but as to effectively removing it, and what that might feel like, just think - Bikini wax!

..why are we talking about nose hair?...

cainam_nazier

Because it amusses me...

I find it odd that more often than not when a person wants to know how people think and posts a very serious and lengthy topic aimed at trying to find out how people think and act it is often ignored.

But at the same time the silliest of topics get mass amounts of attention.  It is through silly, need to ask why kinds of posts that I/we learn truely about other people.

You can tell a lot about a person because of topics like this.

Oh and at the time I had one that was bothering me which resulted in about 7 or so sneezes in a row.  I felt like complaining.

panabelle

Bikini wax?! Yeah right. I just buy a tankini. It's a bathing suit, but it's like a spaghetti strap tank top with these little shorts.  (hence no need for any type of wax applied to my sensitives. Ew. [xx(]) It's as flexible as a bikini, but with the modesty of a one piece (I just stopped wearing a one-piece last year and am still not comfortable with exposing that much skin).

Another thing about stupid topics is that everyone's more friendly, even those who don't really liek each other.

The human body is a wonderful machine.  The heart, the lungs, the kidneys, the stomach, all working together to keep the machine running smoothly.

So why is it that the darn thing doesn't know how wide your nose is?  It continues to produce hairs that are longer than your nose is wide.  So what do you do?  Locate, grab, yank, and then sneeze until your lite headed.....
