2 OBEs, both "Dark and Confusing"

I just had these 2 OBEs last night!

   I came to consciousness in the mind awake, body asleep state. Also had sleep paralysis with some light yet clearly distinct vibrations. Increased the strength of those vibrations until they were moderately strong. Then I deliberately projected straight up out of body and hovered about 2 or 3 feet over my physical body. The room was very dark and my eyesight was poor. Also the superphysical layout of the room looked different than the physical room and that caused confusion. I thought about going outside through a nearby window but never made it. The close proximity of my physical body ended this OBE in less than 2 minutes

   Immediately I projected out of body again. The same conditions applied - sleep paralysis and vibrations. Again I floated up directly about 2 feet above the physical body. Now a familiar elemental spirit  was with me.
   Unfortunately I now had an acute pain in my head. The combination of pain and poor vision ( I should have affirmed "Clarity Now' but did not) abruptly ended this OBE before I could get outside through the window.
   Notes. Time of the OBEs was between 1:30 and 1:45 AM.. The duration of both OBEs was between 1 and 2 minutes.  I lay on my left side. Note also the similarity of my confused state while out of body and the conditions that OBE researcher Robert Crookall documented. Crookall found reports of similar states of confusion in many OBE accounts. He termed this the "Hades (like) condition" of people who were out of their physical body yet still inside their etheral body/ "vehicle of vitality" and near to their physical body.
   OBEs #s 86 and 87 both ocurred in Locale I, a familiar location. Both included Confusion, Deliberate, Energy-pranayama, Floated, Hemi-sync (earlier that night), Meditation (earlier that night), Sleep paralyses, Vibrations and both were Short (lasted less than 2 minutes).
   In addition OBE # 87 (only) included Pain and a Familiar Person/Being - the elemental.

Many of my RTZ projections have been similar, "confusion" being the appropriate word. I tend not to have the clarity as I do when I enter straight into the astral proper.

Did you have the headache before projecting, or did it happen at the time you projected?

Are you able to get at least 10 to 15 feet away from your physical body during those OBEs? If not it could explain the confusion. Nearly every OBE where I remain close to the physical body ends up being both confusing and short. Most other OBEers report similar conditions also. Next time that it happens I will try to remember to say an affirmation, maybe "I wish to go outside ,NOW" (or something like that).

No headache earlier that night. The pain ocurred during (and only during) the OBE. I can't explain it as that has never happened to me before.  Once the OBE ended I felt fine.
