Self Hypnosis Experience

I started to think about self hypnosis a few days ago so I read this article and I tried to hypnotize myself.

I don't think I was too successful at hypnotizing myself but I did have a weird experience. The article said that when you become more hypnotized your heart will start to race a bit and it didn't happen for me. I figured I'd keep going and I started to say some things in my mind that I would like to happen. After I was done with that I imagined I was in front of a door and when I opened the door white light flooded out and became apart of me. As soon as I opened the door my heart started to race (like the first time I tried to AP) and it had a deep beat. It even felt like my bed was shaking (like the second time I tried to AP). After I stopped imagining the door my heart start to slow down to its normal pace. I also felt unusually happy after I was done.

I was wondering if anyone can explain this experience. I thought it was weird that that was the only time that my heart started to race. I don't think I was beginning AP but maybe I was.

My guess it that your heart chakra geared up.  It doesn't mean for projection (although it was a mental one), but just because the experience stimulated it.

When my heart started to beat a lot faster I put my hand above my heart and it was my real heart that was beating fast. I thought that when you AP and your heart feels like it's beating faster it's only your heart chakra and not your actually heart.
