I went home for lunch and took a nap. I always try to notice the nothingness as I close my eyes just as a form of meditation I guess. Well I fell asleep and I found myself in this dream, I was with my wife sitting down on the couch then I hear the bathroom door open so I went to see what it was so it was nothing. I went back to the couch and my wife was gone, I was looking all over for her and could not find her; as I was looking for her I started to feel like I was losing perception of my surroundings. Like I was half drunk so at that moment I asked myself if it was an OBE so I decided to go outside and look for my wife so I thought of going through the door and I did. I remember going through it and almost getting to the other side when I decided it was too much so I thought of going back to my body.

I always read that thinking back to your body should be instantaneous, but I felt that I was going back in slow motion and I started hearing this ringing.

Now this is the weirdest part for me because I had never experienced it. I clearly felt as I was descending into my physical body, I felt the sensation of adjusting and tweaking all in very slow motion. I felt my arms being dropped into my physical arms and adjusting as well. I felt a tingling on the tips of my fingers as it did the final adjustment and felt a rush of blood, then I felt vibrations for like a few seconds, then I woke up and I felt a little tired. It was the weirdest experiences ever.

The part I don't understand is why did it start in a dream, I do not recognize the place at all, but the feelings, sensations were as vivid as any day, anyone felt this sensations getting out, going back?

Please give me your insight as to what do you think this was.

Thank you

Well, here's my interpretation (and opinion):
Every time we sleep we project, we just don't go far.  We dream in a private part of the astral, but we can in some instances 'cross over' and visit collective parts of the astral (i.e. the 'astral proper').   That's why you can sometimes dream of a deceased person or simply share dreams.  So if you left your personal area, and went into the astral while dreaming, and then became lucid and decided to go back to your body, it's not surprising that you felt the reentry symptoms, including the noise and vibes.
Interestingly, even though I don't get exit vibrations any more (or in very rare instances), I always feel them when I come back in a deliberate way.

Thank you CFT traveler, I jusy got chills reading your response. I can't believe it finally happened, I think I've had a very weak one before but I was not very convinced. What did it this time was the very vivid reentry sensations. It was amazing.

I also want to say that I never try to induce anything as far as doing all the techniques listed. All I do is always think about it before going to bed. I guess in my belief if I just think about it it will just come naturally and it did.

I have read that once you experience it it's like opening a door, so hopefully I've reached a stepping stone.
