So I've been trying to AP for a few months. In this time I've experimented with a lot of techniques to get in trance.I can now have it pretty much when I wan't(in the morning or even at night If i have an afternoon nap).
The problems are when vibrations come and I can't seem to use any tecnique to get myself up(floating, rope, roll out), even though I got don't have any more the fear of leaving my body.
I hope you guys could help me by answering this querstions:
1.When the vibrations go, should I be able to move?
2.When should I try to exit:during the vibrations or after they go.
Different boks tell you different things :-(
Hope I get some help :-D

Does this mean they don't work, or that you have some problem using them?

It depends, if you can move after vibrations stop that means your trance wasn't deep enough.  But this depends on the time of the day.  If in the early morning (after sleeping) then waking up and being able to move may be normal- but at night before bed, if this happens, it's a sure fire sign that you need to get deeper into the trance.
Quote2.When should I try to exit:during the vibrations or after they go.
I would start energy body loosening at the beginning of the vibrations and move to the exit technique after they go.  It's what works for me, because in my case, if I have vibes it's too early in the trance.

That's because vibrations don't always happen in the same part of the trance.   When a person starts developing their ability, vibes start at the right time (when in deep trance and one is paralyzed or close to) and it's the right time to exit.  But the more you practice and the more you project, they start earlier in the trance and sometimes start even before you've achieved any kind of decent trance, so they become useless for the exit, although they do tell you you're changing focus.  And if you do it long enough, you may find you don't get any vibes, and have to figure out another way to tell you're ready.
It's not that the books are 'wrong', it's that the vibrations are not 'stationary' symptoms that always happen at the right time, they are 'slippery' and evolve as you do.

When you are first learning it can be hard to know whether or not you have projected or not (once the vibrations have subsided). It can often feel like you are awake and have failed when you have actually separated.
I would suggest you use a reality check to find out for sure. Go with the vibrations and when they have finished pinch your nose shut and try to breathe through it. If you can breathe through your pinched nose, you know you are projecting already and you can then roll out of your body or try to exit by sitting up. If you can't do the check you are in sleep paralysis (it's still possible to roll out in sleep paralysis but it may take a lot of willpower, just keep attempting to roll - hard, and you will get out).
It will be much easier to progress once you know for sure whether you are projecting or not.

I pinched myself several times, checked to see if I saw myself in bed or If I could pass between walls :))
Guess I will just have to try more

Ryuk,
I'm not quite sure I understand you here:
When you say you "checked to see if I saw myself in bed or if I could pass between walls" , how were you able to do this unless you had already separated? Can you clarify?...
