How to grasp the higher dimensions - a theory of mine

I have done some pondering on the higher dimensions.

Imagine a one-dimensional universe. It has an array of points extending in either direction. It is curved, meaning it encompasses all of infinity and is ultimately connected to itself. We now can measure length.

Imagine a two-dimensional universe. It builds upon the array of points in the first dimension. It treats this array as just one value in an even greater array of points. We now have width and length. Each point of width essentially contains an array of points describing length for that particular position.

Imagine a three-dimensional universe. This is simple because we live in it. Take our previously imagined two-dimensional universe, and treat it as just one value in an array. We now have height, and at each point of height we have a separate array (width) containing separate arrays of points (length).

This is as far as the human brain can percieve, but we can imagine even farther. Beyond here is where it begins to get interesting.

Imagine a four-dimensional universe. You can do this by taking your previously imagined three-dimensional universe, and treating it as only one value in an array of similar values. Say, at one particular point in the fourth-dimension you have a three-dimensional array of widths containing lengths. At its neighboring fourth-dimensional point you would have a completely different array of arrays of values. Now, imagine yourself walking down the street. At one point you are three-dimensionally in a different point than you were a minute later. The fourth dimension is what we call time, and it stretches to encompass all of what we might call a timeline. It is a dimension just like any other, stretching out in both directions to infinity, and curved, ultimately connected to itself. This description of time corresponds to many other theories, all you have to do is listen to Einstein or Stephen Hawking.

Imagine a five-dimensional universe. Take your four-dimensional timeline that you've just imagined, and imagine it as only one value in an array of timelines. Each timeline is parallel to the other. The thought of parallel timelines implies that there are several different ways the world could be happening right now. At this point those who believe in predestination might want to stop reading. At each moment the world has a set way it's going to turn out. However, this can be affected by the dimensions it encompasses. For example, if you decide to run out into the street, you might cause some cars to swerve or stop. If you choose not to run out into the street, the cars will keep going as they intended to. Motion in the fifth dimension is something that can only be done through things that are truly random. Randomness describes the quality that something will act differently regardless of influence outside of its own system. Some examples are atomic decay, the position of electrons, and (in some cases) human consciousness. The fifth dimension encompasses all that can possibly happen in our universe. If this is true, then everything that possibly could happen, happens.

Imagine a six-dimensional universe. Take your five-dimensional spectrum of events and treat it as only one value in an array of values. You might think to yourself, if the fifth dimension encompasses all that can possibly happen in our universe, what else is there? The only possible explanation of a six dimension would rely upon the idea that there are multilpe parallel dimensions, each with their own array of timelines, which each contain an array of three-dimensional spaces, and so-on, and so forth.

Some would think that this is as far as a dimension could go. But let's apply the same principle of arrays one more time.

Imagine a seven-dimensional universe. Take your previously imagined six-dimensional multiverse, and treat it as only one value in an array of values. What do you get? Is there nothing that can encompass a universe?
Imagine something essentially more basic than a universe. Something that can make up a universe, but is not a universe itself. The human language doesn't have a name for this sort of thing, but if a seven-dimensional universe can and does exist, we must assume that a universe is only one type of THING, and that there are an array of possible separate configurations of THING.

Somewhat mind-boggling, I suppose. But this is as far as I have bothered to imagine. Really, I couldn't begin to imagine anything that contains a seven-dimensional universe, even though it must be possible.

Thank you for reading!

Well that's a good theory but it doesn't really fit with the thousands of astral projection reports that I have read. In order to understand how universes really work you need to understand how dimensions relate to the 'astral planes'. Instead of typing I will show you a picture I drew which I believe is pretty close to the real model of our universe. Although, I can't be certain what goes on beyond our universe, there could be an infinite number of universes connected (alternate realities).

You can see that matter/energy and space/time are intimately related. The biggest thing seems to be thought and it's impact on everything.

Hi example6

I think that your basic premise Is Correct. Each higher dimension goes tangentially off from the preceding dimension. Off course describing how the fourth dimension runs off from the third dimension is a Tricky business. Your description appears as reasonable (and concise) as any that I have read before.

IMHO, the average physical human brain doesn't have the capacity to understand the mechanics of time travel intellectually, much less have the ability to accurately express the concept.

Sensory enhancements have created quantum leaps in intellectual understanding of the universe.

The invention of the telescope and microscope is easy to take for granted these days, but they created a revolutionary change in intellectual perception of the world.

I think we have a chance to understand time travel given the invention of intelligence amplification technology.

If you think I'm wrong, then look up at the sky on a clear night and tell me that you can see the rings of Saturn or peer into a drop of blood and realize an illness isn't caused by demons or a foul ether.

Hi iNNERvOYAGER, as you might be aware I have been studying the effects of time travel for a while now and I am determined to figure out how its done. I believe both time travel and interdimensional/interstellar space travel are very closely related. I agree that I can't do the best job at explaining it but then again I was never a very good teacher.

The experiments I have been working on regarding astral projection have given me a better understanding of how big of a role your mind plays in the process of time/space travel. I am 100% certain that there is technology that exists (in the US and in Russia) that allows your thoughts and intent to be amplified and directed to a specific point in space and time. This scalar wave and torsion field based technology is based on thought ie. thought based technology. The Russians have been developing this technology since the 1950's, whereby using these devices and their consciousness intent to heal animals and eventually people form cancer and disease. The US didn't like the idea of having this technology being used by everyone and decided to tell the Russians to stop using it. They of course refused and the Cold War began.

To make a long story short, the US was victorious and the idea of thought based technology and 'free energy' devices were to remain hidden. The effects of this technology would have created too much mental awareness and the average person would have realized how powerful they really are. Instead the government would rather have you live in fear and have you give what little power you have to them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thought_Police   ( if you like wikipedia , they're accepting donations   :-)  good cause IMO )

Not such a far fetched idea.  As the discoveries and knowledge of Galileo Galilei were a great threat to the power of the church in his day, the discovery of thought amplification technology or technique (doesn't necessarily have to be a piece of hardware) could be a threat to the powers that be in our age.

Thought amplification skills that enable remote viewing and prescience could possibly result in too much public awareness causing an upset in the information knowledge based balance of power.

Before the benefits of thought amplification can be realized by the common public, we will most likely have to endure a period of resistance and combat by some sort of Thought Police.

Personally, I believe that this next decade 2010-2020 will see great advances in this thought based technology. Which is why many people are calling 2012 the beginning of a new age. I have tried explaining this type of technology to several professors as well as friends and they just don't believe it exists, at least not for another century or so.

The important point here is the fact that advances in scientific theory have made possible many things which would have been considered quite ridiculous in my grandfather's time. However, we need to stop thinking as we already know everything there is to know and that nothing which we think of as 'impossible' could ever happen. Let me try to illustrate this be showing a few things which as recently as the year 1900 would have marked you as a 'lunatic', things which we take for granted today because we are now familiar with the science behind each of these things.

"A metal aeorplane weighing 350 tons couldn't possibly fly – everyone knows that!"

"You couldn't possibly watch someone who is a thousand miles away – talk sense!"

"No! Of course you can't speak to somebody who lives in a different country unless you visit them!"

"The fastest way to travel has always been a galloping horse; it's not likely to change anytime soon!"

"A Machine could never beat a man at chess, be realistic!"

I think it will be hard for many people to accept this new technology because it will really give them a wake up call about how consciousness really works. But hopefully once they see this technology used to instantly cure their loved ones from cancer and tumors, it might have an effect on them.

Stookie

I agree with that. As soon as technology can be integrated at an etheric level it'll be a whole new game.

Nice post Kurt and iNNERvOYAGER.
Now I'm kind of upset because the government is always on top. There were always them first and us the last.
I mean we are all humans and we must all be equal. They must not hide this thing to us like that. Most of the things they invent or discover are used for war and for bad porpuses.

Anyway nice post this really opened my mind. :-D

The more the Government/ Illuminati wants to overpower us the more they will probably start to become overpowered by humans and the help of spiritual guides. And I'm hoping 2012 is when the New Age starts.

I'm starting to see why Jesus got annoyed when people feared the government, thinking they needed - or deserved - to be saved from it.

Pardon the tangent, but I was reading a channeling the other day, in which someone spoke to a galactic entity who didn't identify himself. While talking about the state of Earth, he passingly mentioned that there are people on other planets who could control the weather around them. Not because they have any special technology, but because "they understand that it is their birthright to do so."

He said humanity is no different. "Was it your thinking that you are insignificant to the state of your world?"

It reminded me of Jesus calming the weather the way he did, simply commanding it. People asked him how he did it, and he seemed puzzled. Why couldn't they? Was it their thinking that they were insignificant to the state of their world? Did they believe they were victims of some uncontrollable force?

I personally find that when people want to be saved from a government or a purportedly invincible force, usually, it's just their way of affirming that the state of this world is not their fault - that they are sheep controlled by some abstract force that cannot be defeated, and are therefore blameless.

Anyway, dimensions:
Dimensions of perception don't have numbers (no 4th or 5th or 6th) like mathematical dimensions. The two are different concepts. The sort of dimensions you enter from the astral are something quite a bit more complex. They're a concept that is rather alien to us and I've spent a while trying to understand them. (and I'm still trying)

I should write an article but I'll try to sum this up real quick. Neurologists and psychologists are noticing how we create a virtual world in our minds. We take sensory data, compile it into a coherent model, then compare it with previous information, and pretty much deduce what our surroundings look like. So the room you believe you're inside is actually an interpretation inside your mind, not outside. Everything that appears external is actually internal.

Here's where I think dimensions come in. If the room is just an interpretation, then what is it interpreted from? It has to be based on something real. You assume it's actually made of atoms, and atoms are objective things, but physicists notice how an atom can teleport through another atom, it can appear in two places at once, a particle can be a wave one moment and an object the next, and time can be bent around. It's becoming clear that atoms and quarks and strings - space itself - is subjective. It's interpreted from deeper, spaceless data.

So what is interpreting the atoms?

Seems like an odd question, but why do we all see atoms equally, if their very existence is an interpretation? We have no system in our brains that interprets the existence of space out of spaceless data; we only have systems that interpret objects out of space. So why do we all see atoms equally?

It seems to me, there is some deeper system of awareness translating spaceless data into particles for us, and communicating it to our minds, placing us all in the same simulation.

My thinking is, the dimensions you see in the astral (and while asleep) are like 'programs' setup to interpret universal data into a form that you can understand. Waking life is just one program. This would mean the walls around you are a set of concepts translated into physical atoms, translated by your mind into objects. Once you lose touch with the program, the walls cease to exist in solid form
