Hello, I'm a beginner and everyday I come closer and closer to APing. I was wondering: what does it feel like to astral project? What does the astral plane feel like? What level of senses do you have, compared to the physical world? What kind of world is it: what does it look, feel, and sound like? Thanks!!!

Xanth

Look around you right now.  :)
Now imagine what you see right now to be a bit more bright and vivid.

They say an astral plane can feel even more realistic than our "real" world

Interesting... So when you say "more real" or "more bright and vivid" do you mean kinda glowing or eminating energy, or that it's like a hyper-awareness type thing?

Read these 2 books to get a better understanding of the whole thing:

1.) Astral Dynamics
2.) Our Ultimate Reality

And just so you know, I havent projected myself yet.
I'm only going by what other people tell me whom have projected.

There's just too much anecdotal evidence to tell me they're bullshitting though, thats why I'm sticking with it.
Even if I can never project, I still like the added energy I get from doing trance work every day. Thats why I'm gonna continue doing it

... and the best way to prove it to yourself is to not give up!  :)

From my experiences (which have in all honesty been few and far between) it's as if my sight is governed by perception of energy, as if that's all I can see, the placement of energy, the things we perceive to be physical all being energy emitting light, or perhaps that's just how I've interpreted the 'physical' objects considering every time i've projected it's been in the dead of night, in a pitch black room. It's almost to me like looking through a night vision camera. I'm finding it very difficult to explain, but i thought i'd try in hopes of helping you.

How do i feel? It's as if I'm still 'myself' yet slightly different, my priorities in the body are different than they are when I'm out of my body (or however you want to describe it) since i still feel connected to my physical, as if attached or as if i've left a part of what i perceive as 'me' behind.

Peace and love mate, I hope you achieve this.

from what I experieced, it feels very colourfull, very detailed. You will be amazed on how bright and coloured everything feels

I know what you mean about the 'weird' part, I told my best friend and she suggested we drive to Selkirk to drop me off at the mental institution!

It does get lonely sometimes.
Bring into play the divine within you, so on the stage of life you can fulfill your high destined role.

Thats why you should find AP meeting groups in your city/town.
I live in Toronto, as soon as I have my first exit I'm gonna try to find an AP group here in my city
