Manuel Ortega Campa

Hello, My name is Manuel. I would like to receive some advice. That way we can be progressing simultaneously, and maybe coexist astrally.

I haven't been out of my body yet.

My first experience was paralysis, and I thought I was going to be abducted. That's because of the loud noice and because time before, I watched two extrange fellows in my room and another one outside the room (through the opened door). I remember their faces: like blue pale aliens.

My second experience was scarier than the first one. I tried to get out of my body on purpose because of the curiosity, but everything turned scary. I suddenly didn't feel my legs and started feeling a vibration as strong as when I had paralysis. Then my eyes started shaking and I started watching circles flowing (difficult to explain). I got so scared I had to phone a friend to ask him for advice.

The same things happen the night after the second experience, but it changed. I remember that being aware I focused my sight on the rooms darkness. Suddenly, my sight started to blur in a deep white, but it ceased when I closed my eyes. When I closed my eyes, I couldn't see anything that wasn't BLACK, even if I tried to think about something.

That night was scary, everytime I felt vibrations (mostly on my back) I opened my eyes and felt as if I were pulled down. It was a sensation that felt like being in an elevator when it stops. That night I remember feeling warm my right ear, I could even listen to pieces of cluterry falling, and conversations of people. I also listened to some kind of loud whisper ("ohhh, ohh").

Please give me some advice to continue doing this. I'm not scared anymore.

P.S.: I forgot to tell, the second experience got so much harder when I thought of a girl I love.

Thanks for reading,
Ortega C. Manuel.

Hi there, welcome to the forum!  :)

QuoteMy first experience was paralysis, and I thought I was going to be abducted. That's because of the loud noice and because time before, I watched two extrange fellows in my room and another one outside the room (through the opened door). I remember their faces: like blue pale aliens.
Sleep Paralysis can be quite a frightening experience when you're not prepared for it.  It can also be accompanied by many strange sights, sounds and feelings... namely, what you've seen and heard.  They're quite normal.  Generally, all of it comes from you, generated by your mind.

QuoteMy second experience was scarier than the first one. I tried to get out of my body on purpose because of the curiosity, but everything turned scary. I can imagine, all these new experiences can be quite the ordeal if you don't recognize what's going on.  I'll try to go through each sensation with you.
Next, the vibrations.  These are what we consider a 'signpost' sensation, in that, when you're experiencing them, you know you're pretty close to actually being able to leave your body.
As for your eyes: When you dream, your eyes are actually very active, you're just noticing this.

Watching the 'circles flowing'... that's a bit harder, but it kind of sounds like you were in (or close to it) focus 10 or 12.  Basically it's just a state of awareness where you've removed any physical input from your body and are in a more relaxed state of mind.

First... the losing sensation of your legs is just you losing awareness of your physical body.  This is actually what you want to be able to project.

QuoteThe same things happen the night after the second experience, but it changed. I remember that being aware I focused my sight on the rooms darkness. Your best bet is to simply realize that nothing is going to hurt you and just accept anything you see... some people report seeing a 'white screen'.  But I don't remember too much more about that.

This is another example of what we call "hypnagogic sounds".  When you see stuff it's called "hypnagogic imagery".

Actually, you're already doing quite well!  Try to stay calm and the key is to lose awareness of your physical body.  :)

QuoteP.S.: I forgot to tell, the second experience got so much harder when I thought of a girl I love.
For your first few attempts, you'll probably want to not think about anything that will ground your awareness into this physical realm.  Which is why I believe your second attempt was a bit harder.

You're doing great though!
Congratulations!

Xanth, thank you very much for taking your time and replying. Im grateful, a lot!

I would love that you help me with a new doubt.

Trying to disconnect from the physical body is kind of difficult because I just can't ignore the vibrations. And when they stop I feel worried and start thinking I won't make it. Maybe I just have to accept anything that happens and relax. But if I do so, Will I just fall asleep? Or do I have to focus on an specific moment and try to "pull the rope" or do something to get out?

Thanks again,
Ortega C. Manuel

Hiya,

Not a problem, I like to help.  :)

That worrying you're doing when the vibrations go away... those are enough to scuttle any attempt you're making.
It's best to just not worry and kind of "go with the flow".  Accept whatever sensations you experience with a kind of "that's nice" attitude... then see where that takes you.

Basically, you will "fall asleep" if you let your attention wander... you've got to keep it focused away from your physical body at all times.

Fresco

Just curious but what Latin american country are you from, Manuel??
I been all over S.A. and vacation there quite a bit.

Also is astral projection popular in the Americas??

Manuel Ortega Campa

I'm mexican, Fresco ;] nice to meet you.

Astral projection is not very popular here, I barely know one person that tries this. It started as a conversation of different points of view, because I believe in aliens (I've had bad experiences) and he believes in people from other "planes".

Actually, I bet you know more people into it than you think.  ;)
It's not a very "talked about" subject in today's society, but I think it's starting to come around.  hehe
