Dear folks,

I will share with you a little secret I have used for a long time. Many people experience an almost irrestible sexual urge in their meditations or energy work.

And evidently when one totally gives in to an orgasmic experience he will deplete himself very easily.

Next time while you're at the point of orgasm imagine all energy re-entering through your feet like some kind of fluid. Make this as vivid as you can.

You will never feel energetically exhausted after masturbating again, however you may still experience the residual sleepiness that I believe is caused merely by chemical reactions associated with the act.

kind regards,

Paul

Nifty. I'd also suggest a high-fiber diet :)

Personally, I like to use the after-sperm state for a trance

nix that 'high-fiber diet' thing. I ate some avocados today and my libido has been destroyed by gas

I could be wrong, but I believe that happens mostly when you start out, but once you get to balancing your energy/chakras the urges go away. Same thing with will-power. They more you develop will, the more you'll be making your own conscious decisions and "urges" at inappropriate times settle down.

I am a 10 year brahmacarin and never felt anything of the such until k erupted.  The only thing now is to live with the euphoric/orgasmic energy that I am.

I can't agree with Stookie either. The more I raise my energy the more sexual i would feel. Otherwise I don't.

  My goodness.  The AP hasn't changed that much, someone still has to bring up sex or masturbation at least once a month.  I still can't figure out why.

I remember when I was 19...  never mind.

Regardless of Tiny's age, which is relevant to only a small degree, he is bringing up a very beneficial idea/practice (vajroli mudra).  It happens naturally as the kundalini is activated and begins to rise, however, also, it can, and in yoga often is used to stimulate the activation of the kundalini.

When the awakening begins to take place the instinct of sexuality increases dramatically.  Let me stress this, dramatically ( ! ).  This did not in my, nor in many cases occur when beginning to meditate, I am a seasoned meditator approaching my 50's, it occurred with the ascent of kundalini through the root and sacral centers and has been ongoing, 24/7, throughout the past year.

So I am just pointing out there is more than novice-hood to be considered here.  I agree wholeheartedly that inevitably one does become accustomed to the new level of energetic experience, the intensity of a constant upward flow without having to bring it back down again.  Throughout the length of this 'getting accustomed', though, just to say, yowza!....

In my opinion, it's of HUGE relevence.
Sex is a physical thing... what we consider "sex" in the non-physical really has no correlation to the physical version.  They shouldn't even be compared... apples to oranges in my opinion.
Getting side tracked with "sexual urges" is a strictly physical issue that has ZERO relation what-so-ever to anything spiritual.

Age is definitely a huge issue here, as boys/men peek around age 19... hence, little willy will be acting strange up until and even a little past that point.
Through my personal belief and experience, I also believe that Kundalini has little, if anything at all to do with it.

I respect your opinion, Xanth.

I used to think the same thing, then the awakening of the k actually began.

Now I no longer share my opinion, just the experience(s) I myself am moving through which I feel may be of assistance.
