Tom

Was this thread a joke or was it intended to gather serious responses?

I read somewhere if you stare at the sun for an hour you'll start seeing ki flames everywhere.  Not sure if its true though. [;)]

kakkarot

i'm sure he was serious.

What exactly is this Ki flame? a new term ?
Never strare directly at the sun.

Check under seeing aura's,

Still wondering what Ki Flame is...

kakkarot

travisltk: ki flame is when your energy becomes like a flame and ... haven't you ever seen dragon ball z?

"Never strare directly at the sun." why not? i used to... wait a minute. maybe that's why i've got such bad eye sight! lol.

I have heard of runes
Fa = fire

You can say Fa slowly like... FFFFFF aaaaaa.. the a makes a little a sound.  Along with hand positions and body positions I am sure you'd see some Ki flame around you then,

Fat_Turkey

lol.

Looks like another newbie. First off, this is the wrong board.

Second, it would probably take about a few decades. Check under seeing auras. Grow up. Life ain't DBZ.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

No amount of rigorous training, sitting and doing nothing, and clearing one's mind can help a man who hasn't overcome his doubts.

Dragon Ball Z is an old, old japanese anime, one that was horribly translated. It's full of bad humour, and everything about that show is melodramatically unrealistic.

The subject of Ki Flames is a naive and childish issue. People can channel their energy, and we all actually have ki flames around us. The correct term for this metaphysical prospect would be Aura.

With energy work, I am sure it is entirely possible to channel an uncontrolled field of fire around yourself (Chi Masters, who have spent their entire lives--at about several hours a day in intense meditation), can burn things, so it's plausible that a ki flame is entirely possible.

But the question is why? Why would you want a ki flame? Are you familiar with spontaneous combustion. If you form a ki flame around yourself, you'll burn yourself and your surroundings. Not a very wise thing to do.

Dragon Ball Z does not teach anyone how to do anything. I've seen the websites that claim to teach "limit breaks", and energy techniques/attacks. Dragon Ball Z, and Final Fantasy, are not an intelligent basis for spiritual education.

How long does it take to see Ki flame outside your body.[;)]
