Ok so I have read numerous books on AP and tried several ways. But Im really frustrated.
I find the excercises and mantras that you have to do before bed and during the waking life are quite a lot (referring to Belzebuub mainly).

I have not tried to AP for a month now because i am losing interest because the excercises are too time consuming and having to remember how to do certain things and chant mantras. And because I have only managed to AP once (and that was without trying) the lack of success is causing me to lose interest.

Any suggestions?

don't try so many meaningless activities that only help to confuse the intention. Read Frank's guide and posts on phasing, they will probably do more for you than any of the books you've read. http://www.astralpulse.com/frankkepple.html http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/profiles/frank-u359.html;sa,showPosts;start,2565 After that you can ask mostly any questions on phasing you have

you can also find his posts here - http://www3.sympatico.ca/xanth18/FranksPosts.pdf

Thankyou so much for that - am saving a copy of it now and will print them.

Cheers!!!!  :-D

It will change your point of view. IMO Belzebuub stuff is full of mysticism and useless paraphernalia. I like Monroe and Franks's approach. You would find Bruce Moen interesting too...all of them far away from mystics.

Ok thankyou i will read those too - i was worried all AP stuff was mystical like belzebuub! LOL

I'll share this with you, Saff.

I've been studying Astral Projection for roughly 10 years now... studying the "classical OBE" actually.  Methods and otherwise.
And, well, after reading all of what Frank has to offer on this site and following his Phasing Model, I've made more progress in the last month than I have in the last 10 years.

I've always hated all the mystical crap and terminology that was required reading to attempt Astral Projection... this includes just about any book ever written on the subject, except for Robert Monroe's trio of books.  Frank and Robert Monroe really struck a chord with me.

I hope they do with you too.  :)
I hope you have a renewed effort after reading them.

Thanks Xanth

I remembered we talked about it in chat but i could not remember the names of the literature you referred to.
Will go away a happy bunny now with renewed hope and get my nose in the literature hehehehe :-D

I'll just repost my PM to you here.  :)

Hi there  :)

Journeys out of Body contains his VERY early works and theories.  It's mostly just a re-telling of his experiences.
Well, all three books are a re-telling of his experiences with very little in the way of methods or techniques.

However, I'd suggest starting with Far Journeys and then move onto Ultimate Journeys.
Far Journeys is where he starts revising his Locale theories and moves onto the creation of his Focus levels.
In Ultimate Journeys he makes even more headway and further refines his techniques to include his "quick shift" and "phasing" ideas.

These "Phasing" ideas are then what Frank Kepple took and refined even further to create his Phasing Model which is what a lot of us here on the Pulse use and teach, including myself.
