*rubs head* I know I am not very good at poetry, but this is a poem I wrote a while back, that is probably the best I have ever written

Controlling your life
A bird in cage
You seek for freedom
You search for escape
A heart unsure
Your mind trapped
The doubt inside
Chains you down
Crying for change
You hear no answers
Blocked ears are
From blood and pain
A light in darkness
Growing more and more dim
The light you own
Now always shut in

I really only write poetry when I am in a sort of dark mood. ^^" heh heh, otherwise I can not get anything, but this poem is old and I like it out of all the ones I have wrote

I definatly feel the nuisances, i would assume regarding the external forces that are always trying to dominate every one's life and which are by most cultures and modern society generally regarded as being normal and acceptable .

Besides, I still feel that your chosen avatar gives your posts a rather less subtle cuteness  
Well i guess you're anticipating just that.

Suppressed by the Self... That phrase... I'm sure I've heard it somewhere, in a certain context... It talks about so many things, yet, it is often misunderstood... Yours is a great approach...
