I read that book a while back.  Maybe 5 years ago or more.

that was the first book i read that relates to all this metaphysical stuff. it changed my life for the better! if you guys are interested in one physicist's theory on the five 'W's of a unified theory of ALL that IS -including consciousness- read Thomas Campell's My Big T.O.E.. i'm not yet finished with it, but i haven't been this excited over a book since Jouneys OOB.

Obviously though, you do understand the process. You are given higher information in a higher state, then you return to a lower state and can not completely facilitate the info, is that right?
angelout-its all up here

while the word "higher" is probably not the best word to use, yes that's essentially the idea.

in these non-physical realms especially, communication happens in way much more akin to telepathy in which entire perceptions are shared instead of limiting human language.

one of the things humans need to learn is that communication involves so much more than words and we often neglect the other aspects of communication.  so we aren't familiar with the full message comes through.

it's the same in dreams (which have nothing to do with the brain if you ask me).  dreams happen in a nonphysical place and when the information comes back to the physical, our conditioned mind can't make sense of it and so the subconscious does its best to try and find the closest representation of the message in our memories.  Unfortunately, our memories (at least the part we're aware of) are of the superficial aspects of the experience.  The deeper, non-verbal/visual (ie the emotional/sense memory) aspects are often the real reason the subconscious chooses that memory, but our dumb conscious mind doesn't get that part, we just see random pictures and can't make sense of it.
be awesome.
