This felt different to me...

I am used to astral projection.  When I project, I don't see my own body.

Today, though, I tried to take a nap and felt myself rise up.  I opened my 'eyes' and thought "oh, I'm just still back in my bed."  But then I started rising, and it looked like my body was coming with me.  I was lying on my back and could see my legs and feet stretched out before me.  I then started going around the house (I usually don't stick around the house for very long).  It was almost impossible to move my body, and I felt like if I did it would end the experience.  I had to fight to keep my "eyes" open.  It took all my concentration.  Is this different that astral projecting?  It just seemed so different.

It depends if you consider an RTZ projection to be different from an astral projection.  Some do, I think it's a matter of degrees.
This has happened to me on occasion. My husband has woken up to see me with my legs up at a really difficult angle- I don't know if he dreamed it, though.
It's possible that you're not completely disengaging your awareness, and 'sort of' sleepwalking before the separation happens.  You may not be in deep enough trance.
