New York UFOs October 13th

I'm surprised nobody has posted this yet here...

Apparently in the skies over New York city on the 13th there appeared a bunch of UFO's.

The usual guesses are being made.

Although, an ex NORAD officer who wrote a book apparently predicted this would happen... that a fleet of alien "ships" would appear over skies of major cities as a sort of introduction to aliens.

Any opinions?

As I was just saying in the IRC chat... in this day and age of technology. These UFOs were apparently visible for a long time... and NOBODY got images of more than flying dots.  I find that VERY hard to believe.

I know you're skeptical, but I swear I saw something really similar in Richmond VA on saturday.

When I saw the object it looked longer, but after seeing how the multiple dots would go together and separate, that could explain why what i saw looked longer than one of the dots.  I only watched it for a minute or two.  It was far away and my camera on my phone couldn't even see it because of how far it was.  But I saw it.  I really didn't think anything of it.  But I hadn't heard of this stuff in NYC.  It just smacked me in the face when I watched these videos, it looks just like what I saw.  Creepy.

I'm not saying that what I saw was an alien craft.  It was just an odd object in the sky.  I wasn't close enough to determine what it might have been.  It just looked really similar to those nyc things.

The individual orbs themselves look balloon-like, but the pattern in which they fly is an extremely rigid trinangle; if they were balloons, this would mean that they were held in this shape by some sort of rigid frame. It is definitely possible that they are balloons, but I don't know why they would be held in a frame like that if so.

In the UFO circles around the world they know that the population needs to be acquainted with proper care to this subject so that is why they are doing it slowly.

This is so until one day most of your friends will laugh at the possibility that before there were people who did not know of the aliens .

If you read the alternative UFO research (and yes that includes channeling from different entities and I don't mean the newer ones with the message of love conquers all ) you'll see that these things were known for quite some time.

Even CNN recorded on 27 september on their site that ufo's have been disabling nuclear sites. Here is the link

As time passes by more and more of these sightings will occur until the governments will acknowledge them worldwide and start communicating with civilizations other than our own. I know this sounds crazy for most of you but if you do your homework and study the phenomena you'll see a different view on the subject of extraterrestrial life. This is much different than what is known on mass media.

I mean this site is about astral projection/lucid dreaming and we are just a few who are aware of these kinds of projection of consciousness. Why isn't global coverage about the ability to visit other dimensions trough lucid dreaming? People aren't ready just like in the case of UFO's.

If you have questions about UFO's post them in this thread and I'll try to answer them with my basic understanding.

Since there are many videos of the sighting in New york, and several of them show the skyline, it should be very easy to calculate a lot about the objects. It would be helpful if the location of the cameras was known, but even that is not needed, since the locations can be estimated based on the configuration of the buildings in view. With the location of the viewers known, the angle of the objects can be deduced relative to the buildings in sight. When two or more camera locations and angles are found, you should be able to determine the approximate location of the objects. Once the location is known, you can determine approximately how the large the objects are, based on their images to the various viewers. I could probably do it in a few hours using scaled images from google earth and some advanced trig 

If someone were to determine a ballpark size for these things, it would narrow the list of possible options for what they might be dramatically.

i've gotta be honest, the thing i saw here in va didn't look like balloons.

but the nyc objects look odd.  i know it's not appropriate to apply my perspective of reality if there is suspicion of something that may be beyond my understanding.  but what could you imagine that would "fly" like that?  a ship? a camera? a probe?  can't really think of much that would move like that that would be "otherworldly" in any sense.

You keep thinking that the orbs represent the whole object. The part that we are seeing is only the part that is visible to us in 3d. If the object is higher in dimension it could look a whole lot different. If you know the analogies in geometry about how you can deduce an objects appearance going backwards from 2d to 3d then you can see the similarity of it from 3d to 4d for example if indeed this is an UFO object.

i remember a few years ago i was really into flatland and these other short stories, one of which (the title or author i can't recall) was about a guy who went to a jungle to capture a 4th dimensional creature to put on display back in the states or something.  he spent like months or something watching the creature to figure out how to capture it.  the problem was that at any given time, only a sliver of a cross section was physically visible in the 3rd dimension.  so he had to watch the cross sections pass through the 3-D to get an idea of the creatures shape and finally was able to stake what he thought was the foot or something.  really cool story.

I looked at it again and stand by the balloon theory.  Look at how they are moving...  they are tied together and the wind is whipping them about, just like you would imagine balloons would do under those circumstances.  They are bright looking because the sun is shining on them. 

I'm not saying that there is not other life out there, it's just not these particular group of balloons.

Ye... look like balloons to me.. Their movements don't seem all that weird to me.

However, there DEFINITELY is life out there. Planets like earth are apparently rather common in the entire scope of the universe.
