Scary energy wave

I was lying in bed last week listening to the ringing in my ears. I wasnt trying to project although I was intending to later that night. Wasnt even in a trance really, just relaxing before sleep.

Suddenly an intense beam/wave of energy started coming at me from above. My first reaction was that I was under attack. It was unlike anything I've experienced before. It felt like I was being pushed out phase with relality or something. It wasnt like the energy you draw on when you do enrgy work. It felt  like some beam out of star trek or like lying under a huge waterfall of some foreign energy.

If I had chosen to I could still have got up out of bed and stopped it but I decided to go with it and mentally said "you have my permission to do this". The energy kept going through me and it fet like I was coming apart. I remember thinking at one point that this could be the end of me and I might have made an awful mistake in letting it continue.

After a minute or two it stopped and I had astral sight and my arms were out of body. By this point I was assuming it was my guide that had done this but I still didnt get any respense when I asked to speak to them once I'd gotten away from my body.

I think the energy has done something to me. My block on flying above a certain hight has gone. And the next night I somehow managed to phase within 10 minutes without even being in a proper trance first. It was weird, the trance came after I had phased. I was suddenly going along in the sea beside a submarine and when it submerged so did I.

As we quiclky sunk I became partially aware of my body again which was dropping into a deeper and deeper trance with our descent.

I had never been able to get into water in a projection before, there always seemed to be some kind of barrier around the sea.

All this in just two nights is quite exciting for me.

That actually sounds almost identical to how Robert Monroe described his first several encounters with the vibrations.

Strange.

Hmm. Feels nothing like the vibrations to me. Vibrations tend to go the length of my body back and forth. This was going through my body from above to below in a continual stream. Much higher freqency than the vibrations also.

Monroe's first book is the only one I havent read. The library doesnt have it. I've got a dodgy copy on this computer but I get so little PC time I never get around to reading books. I'll have to skim it for relevant bits now.

Sounds like an abduction attempt.

The greys & reptilians posess technology that can capture and contain bioplasmic fields (astral body), so most ppl who find themselves abducted and among aliens are actually astrally abducted.

kind regards,

It's quite possible that you are going to experience them in different ways many times throughout your projection career.
They'll change... they'll come... they'll go... it'll seem quite random.  :)

I definitely do not think it's an abduction.  ;)

Monk

O_o an abduction? really? have we no logical grounds to base this on and must we must go forth and present the reasoning that they have some kind of magical technology that will produce such effects?

Many questions were not even asked to the experiencer, such as:

What would constitute a vibration?

How could you tell that the vibrations were going through your body if all you can sense is your body?

What fits the variables of "length"? - length is just a measure of distance so in fact and direction could be applied to such.

Could your energy body just have been "uplifted" instead of remaining at it's regular configuration along the lines of your physical body?
-
For abductions:

What is the astral?

What is the astral body?

Since when are energies manifest in the physical present in the astral?

Can the energies interact with the two bodies?

How can assumptions be made about such if the purported subjective experiences reported are of the exact same nature as to the physical? Isnt that just stretching things out to the outer limits?

---

This troubles me because proper explanation of terms leads forth to confusing(maybe even dazzling) situations which clearly dont need to have come forth in the first place.

Maybe only then if proper definitions are constructed, then you can compare subjective experiences with each other, but comparing them using definitions that are vague  does not a dandy way make.

But most just flail around in the blackness, searching for their destiny...
The darkness... For me... Is where I shine.

Aliens trying to atrally abtuct me? Yikes! I prefer not to consider that possibility.

I suppose it could be the vibrations in a different form. I cant come up with any good reason why they wouldnt change.

I do a lot of work with energy though and this really felt like "someone" else's energy. Cant explain why.

Hmm..in writing this I've just had a thought. For a while now I've been wanting my guide to show itself to me. It's been helping me, but invisibly so to speak. I was going to mention that the energy felt so strong I thought it was right on, if not pushing, the border of how much I could safely experience.

That thought reminded me of Munroe talking about when he finally got to see his helper. I think it was the light coming from it that he spoke of as being almost too much to handle.

Maybe in my case I was feeling, rather than seeing, the energy and my guide was just giving me a glimpse of a fraction of it's full energy to let me know that I wouldnt be able to handle seeing it in full yet. I think that's the explanation I'm going to go with for now.

If this has eased the OBE journey, I would say that it was an energy body tuneup- some people call this 'initiation'.  I don't like the word initiation because it sounds like someone is doing something to you, but it's just either your higher self or guides re-tuning your energy body so that you can accomplish what you have set out to do (whatever that is.)  Just a side-effect of development.

I like this CFT.

This was a very interesting read blis.  I've frightened myself with new feelings of energy surging up, down, and through my body.  I've sometimes jumped up from a really great meditation because it felt as if something else was invading my body, but then I'd think it over and say to myself, "isn't this what I've been wanting so much, these new experiences?"  YES!

CFTraveler

Another way to look at it is, if you work out assidously at some point you will see your body change- thin out (if the work is aerobic) or muscle up if the work is resistance training.  Sometimes you feel the burn, sometimes your muscles ache.  This can be compared with it, only the vehicle that is adapting is 'less physical', for example.

blis

I like the tune-up explanation. It makes sense.

I put in loads of work in the name of progress. I guess I just expected things to continue at the same old steady pace. The concept of tune-ups is an exiting one It's like your character getting an upgrade in a computer game lol.
