Names?  Are you seriously going to deny that you are Runlola?  Come on, let's not do this, let's start out without deceptions and games.  I think I deserve that much.   And I think it's great that you are back and I look forward to having a more of a civil exchange of ideas and experiences than our first association.

So, with that aside, do you see aura's without being in a meditative state?  I tried and tried, for a couple years in fact, and I just couldn't see them.  I'm sure they exist, I've just never known anyone to really see them whilst in the physical state.

I was told once by a man in the astral, that I wasn't hard to find because I was surrounded in purple.  I love purple.  :-)
Nay... drop it please.

Thank you.

they exist because my family member can see them. they're young and aren't aware of any of this type of stuff.

I think I know what he's referring to and I'm on the fence as to if it's some sort of normal function of how the human eye works... or if it's some metaphysical thing.

If I wave my hand in front of my face, I can see what's best described as a "trail-image" following closely behind it.
For me it's generally colourless... but there are times when it has a deep purple hue to it.

So yeah... not entirely sure what's going on with it.  Maybe someone more biologically inclined might have an answer.  :)
It's normal if it doesn't linger too much.  If however, it resembles what Nay said, you may be suffering from something called 'depersonalization'.  Knowing what I know about you I doubt it, you're just noticing normal eye effects (phosphenic after images, etc.)
We all did it when we were kids, and then grew out of it when other things distracted us, and when we start doing consciousness-opening things, we start to notice them again.   :-)
Like a second childhood.

Oh man... I don't think I ever left my FIRST childhood!  LOL

But good to know, thanks CFT.  :)

Now I'm confused again.  Are you speaking for She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named?  Or are you, She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named?    If they aren't aware of this stuff, then why would they be here in the first place?  And you making this post points out your identity, so if you don't want anyone to know, stop announcing yourself, silly.  :-P

Whatever they are, first things first... get it checked out by an optometrist.  Make sure there is nothing physically wrong with your eyes before jumping to metaphysical reasons.

so i saw an optometrist and there isnt anything wrong with my eyes.

testing

Did they take a look inside your eye at the retina? Or just regular exam?

Did you tell them what you were seeing? Sometimes a detached retina would cause you to see floaters but also darkness.

schockstuhh

there were floaters actually but from how he explained it, it seemed like the random spots of color that pop up within your vision. i do see this from time to time but there is a distinct difference between that and the flow of colors that ive been seeing. i tried explaining it to him but he didnt quite understand what i meant when i said i could see it flowing through everything.

yeah, he's not gonna know what you meant, did he ask you if you were on drugs?  :-D

HAHA nah. would've been pretty funny if he did though. he just didn't really stop to think about what I was saying. he just kept jumped to his own conclusion even if I wasn't finished explaining -_-

but anywhos, does anyone have an answer as to what this could be? having told a friend who has random obe's, he claimed that he could see them too, he just never took the time to stop and focus on it. he also described them as many many snowflakes.

About 15 minutes ago, I woke up in sleep paralysis; however, I did not realize that i was in sleep paralysis. I thought I had just woken up. It's daytime and my room is lit somewhat with daylight, but when i woke up my room was dark and everything around me was flowing with bright neon blue energy. It was quite a sight :)
