This is a great one, taken in June, just after his March 2010 Lecture at TMI.
This is done in Hawaii apparently.

I've read MBT recently. A bit too BIG for my taste, as regards the book volume(s). He could have been a bit more concise and summarising and being less repetitive here and there. But anyway, it was worth reading it. Campbell is the man.

Thanks for sharing, really enlightening.

This is the exercise portion of his lecture in Hawaii.

I'm watching just the first part of it so far... and my jaw has already dropped a dozen times.  lol

I think people seriously need to watch this set of videos and *COMPLETELY AND FULLY* understand the fundamentals of which he speaks.

I had never heard of Thomas Campbell before (yeah, I'm a n00b) but I'm really digging the videos so far. He's got a humble, down-to-earth kind of vibe but at the same time it feels like he really knows what he's talking about. I really like his way of explaining stuff.

Thanks for sharing.

Yes, thanks for sharing. It is really interesting, and I understand it.  :-)

It took me a couple viewings to understand what he was talking about.  LOL
So you're one up on me.  ;)

Right? How come I didn't know of the existence of his work? Would be such a shortcut.  :-)
Almost immediately after that full set of videos you shared here I watched two more of him.
I'm in my teens but I don't have any idol so I guess when people ask me "who's your idol?" I can say Thomas Campbell right away.  :-D

Yeah, I have enjoyed his lectures in the past too- I agree with his hardcore rationalist approach to metaphysics, and think that if you are simaltaneously open-minded and skeptical as he says, there is very much about the materialist system of views that does not add up.

I cannot say for certaint that he is right about everything he says, but I also have often thought that it was very plausible that the purpose of our existence was to live and experience in as many possible modes and ways as possible, to enrich the existence of consciousness itself.
