Two days alone in the house and free, what technique to try?

So, I am finally alone in the whole house and I am also free. For the past 7 months I have been trying to have an OBE with different techniques before going to bed and after some good sleep, but until now I might say that I have not had a real OBE, just a couple of lucid dreams and probably one short OBE, but I am not sure what it is. So, anyway in these two days I can really focus on having OBE and practice, but I do not know what to try. What is your advice on techniques, when to try (I can try whatever time)... It is not a general question on how to have an OBE, I have read enough of those, just curious what would you try if you had plenty of time without anyone to bother you.

My advice is to meditate as much as possible during the day. Do reality checks when you're not meditating. Don't even try to phase or use an exit technique. Your mission should be to strip your mind of mental chatter (fairly easy) and thoughtforms (not so easy) for an extended period of time. Do this before sleep as well. When you wake up early morning go for an exit technique or continue meditation for a half hour. Go back to sleep and you could potentially fall into pre-projection sensations or 3D blackness. If you happen to lucid dream instead you have the back up of habitual reality checks to jar you into a fully conscious experience.

You haven't had a "real OBE", eh?  There's a small problem when people try to define their experiences so precisely... is that they end up blinding themselves to the ones that they do have because they don't fit into their prescribed belief of what an OBE *should* be.  I'll quickly explain... anytime you have an experience that doesn't happen in this physical reality, and you're consciously aware DURING the experience... THAT is a "real OBE".  :)

In any case, what you should do during your free time?  Hmmmm
I'm actually gonna go quite contrary to what Astral316 suggested... and say go with Phasing.  You can attempt it at anytime... morning, day, evening, night... with the best time at being first thing in the morning.  I'd get up whenever you normally get up on a day off... then do your bathroom stuff, grab a drink of water or something, then perhaps read a book on astral projection for 10 - 15 minutes.  Then head back into bed and begin practicing.  Try either the "Noticing" or "Rundown" exercises.

Yeah, I knew when I pressed Post that "Real" OBE does sound quite wrong, as I am familiar that everything that is not in the physical is an OBE. What I meant is rather I have not been conscious, some of the experiences are very real and vivid I can feel when touching things, but I do not seem to know that I am dreaming, so I can't take the decision to take control, go to the astral or RTZ, etc...
Thanks for sharing the links, I have read them all in the past a couple of times and have learned valuable lessons from them.

Wow I would be playing PS3 all day, but in all seriousness I would try to attempt phasing, very simple and for me it has given me great results.

Thanks for the tips, guys, but this is what I rather try everyday, phasing, hemi-sync... (besides the PS3 idea, I might have to buy GT5 and this will fill a lot of time  :-D )
Anyway, I was more curious if there is any sense in doing some deprivation techniques, things like that, where you need time and lone space to practice, and it is more of a one time thing. My idea was to do something more bizzare with the intention to just reach a 100% conscious OBE, not learn a personal technique, which I do rest of the time.

Well, you've got two full days!  Try it for two full days!  :)

If you're looking for some kind of cure-all that'll get you projecting GUARANTEED within those two days, unfortunately, you won't find one.  :/

Before going to sleep try and hold an image of your room around you. Don't let your thoughts distract you, after some time you should be up in your room

If your able to be outside, dress suitable, then go outside and sit under a tree. Bring food with you. But ask the tree for permission, sit under it. Make your "roots" go down the Earth. Then use hours to draw up root energy to your sub navel center and feel how you heal the Earth. It may give you development.
