Ufo

One night I awoke
A silvery light
filled up my room
I sat upright
when I felt a strange vibration
in the air
Quite a sensation

Wind tinkled my chimes
in my open window
Out of nowhere
a huge light glow
My heart passed on its pounding
to veins and ears
Mute, my surroundings

Breathless I floated outside
Caught in a light blue ray
It followed my shadow's outline
And resolved it, "comfort me day"

This shimmering land
with peaks of blue ice
Their hazy rulers
their silent advice
Then is now and now is tomorrow
in timeless space
Our minds are shallow

It's poetry day in the Netherlands and in Belgium, that's how I got the idea to post it.
