i was reading about phasing on xanth's site.....i found that the purpose of doing all theses techniques is to get into focus 12 somehow........
xanth said that when you get into focus 12.....you start to see visuals.....
once i tried to meditate on third eye......after some time i entered in a state where i started to see visuals and my field of view like divided into 5-6 frames.....
in one visual i saw a couple.....than suddenly that visual(it was like video) shrank and it became like a photo in one of the frames.......than i saw a blonde man on ground........
i saw that frame thing only once but i could see so many different visuals.......
to put it all this in one line........i was passive observer of my thoughts...(i am not sure all those visuals were thoughts....because i never saw that couple or that man before)
so my question is this that......
is this the focus 12 state........?
if yes than how to convert it into phasing......because its too easy to loose this state....

Xanth

The point of Phasing is to shift your consciousness to somewhere else that isn't "here".  That shift could be to any focus really.

In any case...
There's absolutely no reason why you can't do what you're doing.
It definitely seems to be something that works for you, and that's more important than anything.  :)

thanks xanth
but that visual state is not easy to maintain...while seeing these visuals.....suddenly i get back to c1.....if i try to observe them or whatever the reason is..........
xanth but how to get to 3d blackness and phasing from this state ......?

Xanth

Like everything else, it takes practice.  :)

I'd suggest concentrate upon solidifying your Focus 10 state... then Focus 12 should come a bit more naturally.

I say forget F-states and 3D blackness for now... it won't help you, just create expectations. It sounds like you were experiencing hypnogogic visuals.

If you want to do it with visualization, choose something to visualize and stick with it no matter what. If you don't have a rundown, it might be a good time to create one. You want to immerse yourself in it without thinking about much else, to the point where your conscious mind slows down and the visual becomes more dream-like and less forced. At this point your awareness may fade in and out, but just keep coming back to your visualization. Eventually, if all works out, you'll phase into the scene you were visualizing.

It takes a lot of practice, but the more you practice the same rundown, the easier it is to visualize it in future attempts.

I was just going to comment that phasing with hypnagogics is using the third eye.  Any visual technique uses the third eye, even if you're not doing it on purpose.  So it's just a matter of what you call it.

I'm coming to the conclusion that the only prerequisite to mind work is focus. The ability to focus your attention on something and to keep it from going astray.

People who do yoga say you should empty your mind, exerting full control over it. Breathing exercises, picturing different energy patterns going all over your body, all techniques converge into one point: silencing the inner dialog.

My current opinion is that once we exert full control over our minds (stopping the inner chattering) we can focus fully on other realities outside our bodies. I think we can gain enough control over our minds so that we can easily choose to let go of our physical sensory inputs and swerve into the non-physical world.

I don't think we even need to worry about any focus levels at all, at least until we have enough control to calm the inner dialog. The TMI tapes could work as a rundown, but I think the main point is to gain control. If we set ourselves this goal when approaching their tapes, instead of hoping to have a OBE, then I think we can achieve much better results.

May be it wasnt hypnogogic images..
I researched about third eye a bit...And they say that when you concentrate on third eye a time comes when you see your thoughts like a movie as a third person..
When i saw it..I told this to a person after that i didnt see those visuals again...Lol..Or may be i didnt try enough.. i should try more
And yeah you are right when we will master phasing...May be we wont need to go to focus 10 or whatever...We might phase with open eyes in instant..
