Recent energy sensations

Nothing profound here.  I just like to mention my progress among peers out of curiosity for possible input.  I've been doing tactile awareness exercises for maybe half a year now, slowly progressing up my body only as fast as I am able to feel the sensations.  I recently started doing it along my spine and head.  A few times I was able to feel stronger than normal sensations, though still nothing shocking, and it made me slightly nauseous.  Also, last night as I was drifting off to sleep I felt a sharp, rather painful, energy sensation in my tongue.  Odd place to feel energy...I was almost asleep so I didn't react but I remembered it when I woke up this morning.

Your tongue has very sensitive secondary energy centers. I think I even remember Bruce recommending using them as a way of absorbing even more energy from food. Since you've been working around your head, it makes sense you've increased activity there.

From my experience, when I've found that when a spot like that is overactive or uncomfortable, using full-body circuits to pull the energy down to the sub-naval area helps to balance everything out. So if you haven't gotten to full-body circuits yet, now might be the time. Pull up from your feet, through your spine and back, over your head, down your brow, through your eyes, nose, mouth, & tounge, down your neck, through your chest and organs to a few inches below your naval. Repeat as necessary.

Thanks Stookie.  When you bring the energy back down over the front of your body do you go all the way to your feet and then start over or do you stop at your navel or root chakra?  I don't usually move down my body, only up.  I thought that was best for development.

Hi Jarrod.  I would not recommend to just draw energy up from the feet up to the head.  I think it can get you wonky feeling -- e.g., too much energy up in head area.  I would recommend to bring it up and around and back down to below the navel.  Personally, I think it is okay to go up to the head and back down to the feet too.  Actually, I do all sorts of variations like all of these.  I very energy sensitive and I tend to just focus on movement of energy and pushing past blockages, etc.  Anyway, I also think that varying what you do is fine too.  I would just not recommend to just always drawing energy up ... that seems kind of off to me.

I'm not very energy sensitive.  That's the main reason I started doing energy work, to increase my sensitivity.  I have a friend who is naturally extremely sensitive to energy and has a little telepathy and...I guess you'd say inhanced intuition.  The first time I met her she approached me point blank and said she could feel a lot of energy just radiating off me and that I must be somebody who does a lot of energy work.  At that point I actually didn't, at least not within my own body.  The most I could do with energy was very faintly feel it between my hands.  Another naturally gifted friend has also told me that just being around me actually gives her more energy if she's feeling tired.  So since I apparently have a lot of it...I'd like to at least be able to feel it better.  Haha.  I can only move my point of awareness through my body slowly or I lose the feel of it.  Usually the feeling is somewhere between an actual physical tactile sensation and just a thought, less than physical and more than thought.  I don't really know how to describe how that feels.  I like to move slowly so I can feel it better.  The strongest sensations I get actually happen on their own in other places in my body I'm not focusing on at the moment, like delayed stimulation or something.
