The most perfect, beautiful music.

Last night, as I was dozing off, I heard a small portion of a song that, without words, and only about 9 seconds in length, described my soul's purpose without the smallest bit of flaw. It was sang in a female voice, with the fullness of an entire choir. It would start off high and then work it's way down gently, and be lifted and dropped by a vibrato before finally dropping down yet another step or two, and fading away. It was the most absolutely pure, perfect, beautiful, awesome, loving, calm, peaceful, tranquil, and blissful music I'd ever heard - but I have never heard this before with my real ears.

Can someone please tell me anything about this? What can it mean? Do we all have our own "lullaby", one perfectly crafted to carry us through sleep and reassure us that we are from love?

It seems to be a common scenario that emotions triggered by music are amplified exponentially in the astral. I couldn't tell you the nature or significance of astral music but I've experienced it a couple times... in one projection it was sort of an upbeat hip-hop/tropical-like song. I listened to it while I was floating away from this random high rise hotel in the middle of the ocean and it felt amazing. Another time I had a vivid dream in which a song by Journey began playing (just like in a movie after a major plot point.) Far more intense than the band could ever replicate in the physical.

If you want to hear more such music you can meditate on your non-physical hearing.

Focus on the ringing noise in your ears and listen for more subtle sounds underneath the main ringing.  There are so many non-physical sounds there to be found. I reckon they're all there all the time but we just dont notice them. Different sounds can lead to different types of experiece. When you find a new one concentrate on it for a good while and see where it leads.

One that I've found that often leads to music for me is a very quiet sort of electricity-like sound that spacially seems to come from just below my ear holes on the inside. You can find different sounds by listening to different parts of your head and body, you just sort of point your sound awareness at it.

A lot of sounds you can only find in one ear as well. There's a sound I can only find in my left ear for example that I can use to project. It sounds like the noise you get when you put a sea-shell up to your ear.

I often hear music as well while laying in bed. It begins very low, and as the trance gets deeper the volume raises. The music can be anything i wish it to be, with many instruments, namely pianos and violins. It never is the same melody though, and usually is an improvisation from my own mind.
