My friend sent me this link today. I wanna keep this discussion open to any related topics, opinions, etc. So, what does everyone think about the multiplying number of UFO sitings?

I think the number of UFO sightings has remained relatively constant over the years. We just have more people with cameras now.

I think that alot of people are posting fake videos .

I beleive that we are not alone in the universe and that it's totally possible that some other very advanced life forms could be visiting us but one thing for sure, some people somehow find sattisfaction in posting fake videos of UFOs.

I find it very sad because it is now almost impossible to determine which ones are real and which ones are fake . Our technology makes it possible to simply create whatever we want on a computer screen and make it look so real that it's totally impossible to say whether it's real or fake .  One thing for sure though, if you add the fake ones to the real ones, the amount of UFO sighting increases alot therefore making it seem like we are being visited more often.

Same thing happened with ghost sightings videos and people who claim to have abilities such as telekinesis . The amount of such videos is now very high because too many people are having fun creating fake ones .

i think it is also a distinct possibility that lots of these fakes are intentionally put out there for disinformation to discredit the legit ones.

ahh okay i see. what about the UFO siting above China where they had to shut down the airport? i believe that one was on the news so i'm confident in it's authenticity. anyone have any ideas as to who or what these UFOs actually are and why they even appear to us in the first place?

Oh, lots of people will offer various accounts of who might be visiting us, and I have heard dozens of explanations- but very few of them have legitimate evidence to back them up. It is good to read them, to have an idea of the possbilities, but you need to be quite discerning and skeptical as well, I am afraid. Most people who offer accounts generally link them to their pet metaphysical paradigms, and relate them to other beliefs they might have, so this complicates sorting out the facts even further.

1.) Man-made aircraft

and

2.) Interplanetary space craft piloted by "people" from other planets

would be my two guesses...
